I'm mulling, Aal

first thought was, like Mundy there, saturate the ceramic "sponge" with CA.
but not sure about that, because the CA still relies on the underlying structure. This is why brittle/crumbly woods didn't fair well, despite being stabilized. The stabilizer in the wood, or in this case the CA in the magnet's porous ceramic core, doesn't change the brittle lattice that it's adhering to.

Still, a soaking-in of CA pro'ly wouldn't hurt.

Still going to mull on it a bit here tho . ..

CA might, tho, minimize e-liquid soaking into the magnet repeatedly. That would probably be a boon in itself.
Also, it might help with the blackening issue as well.

I usually use masking tape to remove magnet crumbles.
it's a bit awkward in the body-mag hole; but I find a right-sized dowel (or such) and press the tape into the hole with that.

Thanks bee man. I will try to put some loctite gel on it. Need to shape it well though. We will see.

:D

BTW besides the steep learning curve and countless hours of calibration there are a lot of things people don't realize about 3D printing that have to be designed for or made to work. One thing is with fused filament printing you can't print in mid air so you have to have "supports" like the one on the left here that will hold up the top of the bottle opening when it lays plastic down there.

Mornin' Sweetie!

morning, beautiful

Mornin.
Up here, we just call them all crocs. Wear them in the saltwater, I guess they become saltwater crocs. Freshwater crocs are typically nicer though. You really gotta watch out for the camo crocs, they'll sneak up on ya without ever being noticed!
