had crisis assessment treatment team today

90 minutes travel, for lots of questions, no answers. And follow up tomorrow with a psychiatrist
Maybe the good doc will prescribe better living through modern chemistry.

No Thorazine shuffle though, that would not be good.
:glug:

Sorry, just how my mind works sometimes… not all the time. Actually, seldom, for brief moments.

OK, here's a couple.
This oughta . . . . errm . .. yeah. :p

I'm revisiting some tried and true techniques/approaches here.
I do like this style of my lampeture.
So, maybe room for another lamp in this style in the world.
Also, just was curious to see how it would go (doing this style) with a bit more experience behind it.

[the excuse for lots of pics this time is: in just quickly grabbing a handful, I didn't take the time to cull . . . so . . . ]

yeah, here's the appetizing part:
those are actually cankers caused by a fungus (Neofusicoccum arbuti . . . as it turns out).
They look pretty cool, and I enjoy using them "as they lie" in my projects.

Our local trees were heavily stricken by disease some years ago (IDK, 5-10 yrs ago); and that's partly why I get to use so much Madrona in my stuffs.
There's a lot of trees that have been cut down or trimmed to try and save the tree.

Madrona was my favorite tree back when I was younger (when I had favorite things): so I can't say that I'm happy that they're suffering,
. . . . but I'm glad for the opportunity to walk around in the woods and find cool branches to cut from and bring home.

the black in the middle.
the tree looks to be puckering around it.
I think Madronas do the same puckering for various reasons.
I've seen the same around where one had dropped a branch n' such.
Probably anywhere it's trying to close back up, for whatever reason, you'd see like the green part looks in that pic.

looks like Keith just did some catching up.
Hi Keith. :)

i don'y understand people trekking to the beach to sunbake and sleep

The only thing more atrocious than other people taking a moment to enjoy life is when they do it right where you can see it! :-x
