looks like Keith just did some catching up.
Hi Keith. :)

The only thing more atrocious than other people taking a moment to enjoy life is when they do it right where you can see it! :-x

Couldn’t get on for a while, but I’m back …

What happen to all the lessons you learned doing a patina on the Nuppin Sleeves ???
Ageing can do that ... I know

I did a copper experiment, and it turned out "blue" ... I so hoped for some yummy green.
As you can see, it's the one on the right ... copper really does it's own thing.
It also depends on the composition used making up the copper
Go for it ,... and send pictures.

my Nuppin' sleeves were all torch and quench colorings.

I'm getting the hang of blue patina on copper. Although there do seem to be lots of mysterious factors; like the one you mentioned about varying compositions.
And I really like (i.e. want to try) what you did there with the browns and blacks with blue accents.
(liver of sulphur? and .. . . what?)
How did you get the "pools and islands" look on that one, @Slots?
what kind of finish do you use to protect but not change the color much?
