Will the winner be chosen by what they posted or by a random pick of a post. I would hope it would be by what they post.
A random post just means someone will get 5 free kits. By what they post, assuming they are honest 5 people will get to try an e-cig. You really don't say how you will pick. A winner will be randomly selected from the replies.
Well that's my opinion.

There is a neighbor of mine who I think would benefit greatly form a kit. She has seen mine and has asked a lot of questions about it . She has told me that she would love to have one but being a single mother with three children one of which is disabled like my daughter she just can't afford one. I would really love to be able to give her one of these kits to see if she can get off the analogs. She is a really sweet person and really deserves one

Hi everyone,

Just like our first contest, a winner will be chosen at random. To be completely fair and unbiased, we use random.org to choose our winner. Each post has a post number that we can all see. Our original post is #1. We use random.org with a range of 2 to the highest post number that the thread receives. Random.org gives us a random number. We look at the post at that number. If that post is a person's thoughts about who, how or why they will give kits to, the community member is a winner. If the post is one of MajorSmoke's posts, another random number is generated and that post is checked and so on.

This makes it fair for everyone and removes the subjectiveness of a person's opinions of what members have written.

"RANDOM.ORG offers true random numbers to anyone on the Internet. The randomness comes from atmospheric noise, which for many purposes is better than the pseudo-random number algorithms typically used in computer programs"

We all realize that there are many in more or less need from reading the posts, but we want to be completely fair to everyone.

- John

For the next kit, I would give it to my friend that does not have a lot of money, 3 kids, and his wife just got let go from her job. Michigan job market stinks right now (as I know it does pretty much everywhere) and he likes the idea of vaping, but rolling his own cigs is cheaper in his eyes right now.

I would give one to a friend at work. I would also give my brother who chews tobacco(Yuk) one. I would give SIL one because she smokes those crazy flavored little cigars! The other two I would PIF here on ECF with a few stipulations....a needy person of course.

Your contest is a generous one and thank you for the opportunity to PIF.

I forgot to say in my first post that two of the other kits would be going to my aunt and uncle who can't get off analogs to literally save their lives. They've resorted to smoking "cigarellos." I tried to talk them into getting a kit but they said "too much trouble." I'm hoping that if they try one (which they haven't yet.) they might change their minds.

Thank you again for this contest! Such wonderful people on this site. The mind...it boggles with the amount of kindness present.

I would give them to the nursing home that my sister works at. She recently told me that they have someone there that is constantly smoking in their room, won't come out, won't change the pants that he came in wearing (he keeps his cigs in them), won't basically do anything because they are afraid of loosing them, and they gave him an ultimatum quite smoking or they were kicking him out. If they have some kits to give some people that are like this it might make things a little easier.

First Kit goes to my dad - he has COPD and still sneaks a cig or two. He's interested in e-cigs and runs off with my bloog everytime I see him.
Second kit goes to my stepmom - So she can get a start on not having those *SATANS* around my dad. =p
Third and fourth kits - to my stinky smoking roomies who would love kits, but have to do silly things like pay bills.
Fifth kit goes to one of my customers at work. He comes by my job every single morning just to steal a toot or two, and I'd love just to have something to put in his hands so he could quit.

Thank you for the contest! :)

The first one I would absolutely send to my friend in Maine who, like so many of us, has tried numerous times to quit analogs. She has serious family health issues, and divorce among other things hitting her hard right now. She thinks there is too much stress in her life right now to attempt quitting. I think not, she could do this!

I will probably mail the kit I am sending to my Dad, and I'll send one for my stepmom too....they don't live that close and that's probably the quickest way to get it to them.

Then I will personally deliver 2 of the kits to my friend's parents. It would be so great if they switched over too!!

Not completely sure who the 5th one will go to.....probably another heavily smoking relative...an uncle, or cousin....or maybe one of my friends if they want to try it...
