# 4 When I had my motorcycle accident when I was 18 and everyone including the doctors were comvinced I wasn't going to make it, you were there holding my hand talking to me while I was on life support and threatened everyone that wanted to discuss turning off the machines with bodily harm.. you gave me life .. TWICE

i love my dad cause we have so much in common even though i was not raised by him. he knew about me...but as the man that raised me said to my bio father as a young man....seems you put your eggs in my basket....my eggs now. so bio dad never looked me up, knowing daddy and nobody else would tell me. daddy died when i was 17. i was told about bio when i was in my 30's. but we both have a sense of humor. we wrote a song....my sister has more sisters than me....and we are working on a tune called my family tree dont have many branches.

7. I was so proud of my dad. He received MANY medals and commendations during his long time in WWII, as a Army Air Corps member than Air Force when they split off on their own. Sadly he didn't speak of those times to his own children but thankfully he told his grandson. We only learned the true extent the hell he went thru and all the awards after he was gone.
