Hi all

Right now I'm vaping 5MG, but was thinking of going down to 3MG, and then 0MG. Only thing is I keep wondering what the point would be of vaping 0MG juice. I mean there's no hit and it seems like a waste of money, is vaping in of itself without nicotine a pleasurable experience? I'm finding it pleasurable, but I think that's because it has nicotine in it, so a question to those who vape 0MG juice: why bother?

I have some 0 and some 3 I mix for about 1-1.5 depending on my mood. I also have one tank with 0 in it that I use here and there thru out the day. I figure anything that helps me lower the actual nic intake a day is better. For a couple of weeks before my heart surgery, I vaped zero nic and it honestly seemed to work to keep my urges at bay just to have something to do.

I'm not sure some of this isn't mind over matter once we get to that level of nic. I have to go with what Steam Turbine said and say "just try it" ….see how it does for you.

I'm working towards weaning as well, I've started with a 12 since I had already cut down to half a pack. My opinion, the reason you only find it pleasurable with the nicotine is because your brain is hard wired to believe so. Personally I'd like to be nicotine free in the long run, tobacco company or not I don't really like feeling owned.

I have been using zero for over two years now. At first I thought it was a waste of money and decided I would just quit vaping. Then I realized I felt like i was missing something at certain times like when drinking coffee or out with smoking friends. I now only vape during those times. I am not tethered to my device like I used to be but I still feel like vaping so I do. I just recently began using 1.5 mg and really like it. I still don't feel as if I need to take my device with me when out. I go weeks without vaping. But sometimes the right weather or a place or feeling still trigger wanting to vape. I never want a cigarette though. It's weird vaping has replaced smoking for me. I miss it sometimes but don't rely on it like when I used higher nic. I went from 2mg to zero and didn't see a change in how much I vaped in the beginning. I just began using less and less. Then it became recreational. Like now I am vaping and having morning coffee like every morning but I won't vape until tomorrow morning again with my coffee. I now don't think it's a waste of money because I really enjoy my favorite flavor just like I enjoy my favorite cup of coffee.

I, too, mostly vape at 3mg. Because two of my fav juices aren't available at that nic level, I mix 0 and 6 - so lots of 0 nic. Pre- and post-op, when any nic was in advisable, the 0 nic was just the ticket. Guessing that my nicotine addiction is back burner'd (I'd say its a thing of the past, but tempting fate is never a good plan!), and it is the hand-to-mouth and inhalation that is so very appealing. And, of course, yummy flavors :)

For some, its not all about the nicotine but the tactile and oral habits that were developed when smoking cigarettes. We have all seen folks who need to have something in their hands or in their pockets or their mouths but can take or leave the nicotine. For others, its all about the nicotine levels and it doesn't matter how it is delivered. My guess is that most of us have a combination of the two and can lower our nicotine, but still feel like having something in our hands or dangling out our lips.

Hmm.

It did nothing for me at all. I found it pointless and would never waste money on it again.

If you try and it and feel it's worth a go (you might need to puff....regardless of the nicotine) then would suggest making your own liquids and adding some bitextra enhancer.

Needless to say, paying £4.99 for nic free liquid is just a rip-off really. It can be made for 30p or less... and there is no danger in mixing it.

My wife used it before surgery and worked very well. I (like a lot of others) started off pretty strong, and have weaned down (currently at 8mg). Plan is to go as low as I can, then try to vape 0mg then go from there. I'd try it anyway before scoffing at it. You never know, like one person said before, it's just mind over matter...

hmm, personally have no plan or desire to eliminate nicotine intake. What the frak fun is that??? More health benefits of moderate nic intake than negative impacts. Just saying, and helps my day more enjoyable. Frak, that there is priceless chit.

I pretty much do what makes my body happy, vape has a positive impact on it. But do adjust nic level as body demands, though have been at 12 mg for about a year now.

that's the beauty of vape though, through building coils, mixing DIY juice, and high amp regulated mods, one can customize their vape every step of the way for ones optimum vape and total satisfaction, agenda or goals.

But yeah, vaping o mg nic juice is like drinking near bear, just makes ya pass water. or something like that??:D

thing is, throat hit is totally capable of being dialed in through build optimization, to accommodate or adjust to throat hit objectives. Nic level has influence, but throat hit has more to do cumulative contributions of air, watts, height, ohms and flavors, then just "nic level". Frak me, everything contributes to the final vape output delivery. :D:lol: Just saying.

I vape mostly low nicotine, 4 mg or 6 mg depending on whether I'm dripping or not. I do vape 0 mg sometimes, and I find that people who are non-smokers but want to vape find the 0 mg option to their liking. Also, I find that with the right brands (like Fantasia) it has some of the best flavor. Coming to this as a hookah smoker rather than cigarette smoker, I like a little bit of nicotine but also enjoy the option of vaping without it. More options = better.
