0 Nicotine, help!

Hi!
Today I went out a bought a 0 Nicotine e-liquid to stop the nicotine addiction, I have only just had a chance to load it into my e-cig and well... there is literally NO throat hit whatsoever! Is there anything I can add or do to make it have a throat hit? It just feels completely weird.

I've never done it, but I've heard of peope adding alcohol, probably grain I'd imagine.

Do you know the PG/VG blend of the juice? You should be able to get juice with higher PG content to give you some TH. Also, certain flavors can increase TH, higher voltage too, flavors like cinnamon, menthol, and certain strong citrus flavors come to mind.

Havent got a clue what the PG/VG blend is. Will I have grain alcohol in my house? aha. The flavour is skittles..

Skittles should have a descent TH, as far as flavors go, it's mainly orange. If you have a VV/VW mod try upping the voltage/wattage. The order of importance for TH, as far as I remember that is, nic strength, voltage, PG/VG, and flavor profile.

No, what mackman meant is that if you were using a rebuildable atomizer you could build your coil higher up on the platform. On rebuildables, the farther the coil is from the air flow, the more intense the TH gets.

If all else fails, add just a drop or two of some kind of clear high grain alcohol, like vodka or pga, to it. It doesn't take much and too much has been known to produce a pretty blue flame that you definitely don't want.

Is your battery freshly charged? I can tell a difference sometimes by that. I have some 0 nic also - trying to wean myself off. (I rotate between 0 & 6 nic.) Fresh battery or new coil could help?

From what level of nic are you coming? Maybe you need to come down a little more slowly to get "used to" less nic. This is me, personally, but I don't care for much throat hit - I enjoy the "less peppery" flavor of juices without nic. I do have some juices with nic (mostly 6mg or less), and a bottle of unflavored 50pg/50vg 36mg nic I can put a couple drops into a tank when I am so moved. I'm using that less and less, and leaning on 0-2mg juices.

To be honest it's got to a point where i'm just vaping whatever tastes nice despite the Nicotine level. I've gone from 8mg to 18, to 26 etc. It wouldn't bother me but it literally feels like nothing!

nicotine and propylene glycol usually are the culprits behind the favorable "throat hit". if you have a juice high in VG then it will be a lot smoother and milkier but less harsh. nicotine is widely proven to help in some cases so if worst comes to worst just settle with a low nic content juice.

For sure menthol. I don't like EtOH. Why in such a hurry to go to O% Nicotine. Take yourself down slow from 1.8 then to 1.2 and then to .6 and then mix in the 0% You will have a better experience and be less likely to stray back to the cigs now and then.

Remember Nicotine is addictive. Actually binds to the same receptor sites as ....... That's why is so hard to quit smoking. Give yourself some time to come off slow and you'll feel better and will enjoy more. You are eliminating all that nasty tar associated with cigs. So you will be doing yourself a favor right from the start.

I purchased Flavour Crafters Navy Cut 0% nicotine. It has a throat hit that sometimes even makes me cough if I take a big drag. It also tastes similar to a burning cigarette and not so much like fresh unburnt tobacco. I personally enjoyed it the most out of the many e-juices I have purchased to help me quit the cigarettes. It was the closest simulation in my personal opinion.

Addendum to my previous post...

I graduated to their 0% nicotine from the high nicotine FC Navy Cut. It is possible that I've slowly adjusted and there may not be a throat hit to someone else.
