1.5 Ohm Atty recommendations?

Ok...so after vaping happily on my Reo for a whole 5 hours today, I have definately come to the conclusion that a 2.0 Ohm atty isnt going to cut it. I like a semi-warm vape, with big billowing clouds of vape.


So..a question that has probably been asked and answered a hunderd and 1 times .... what atty would you all recommed? Cisco? HH357? I want a good, durable atty that maximizes vapor and flavor.

Both! Get a few Cisco's 1st. What viscosity of juice are you using? He makes a HH.357 now especially for 100% VG.

Also check Rob's site. He had EM 1.5's for $3 each.

I like the Joye LR attys. Both 510 and the 306. I do not like the 2.0 at all on the 3.7v.

An IKV or Cisco 1.8 ohm 901 are great choices. Best 3.7 volt vape IMHO. You'll need an adapter, and maybe a drip shield, but it more than worth checking out.

Rod... EM who makes those? Oh and I vape everything from 70/30 PG/VG (BBW many, Halo Malibu) all the way to AVE Rootbeer and some Bobas (still trying to like this juice) which is 100% VG and thick as glue!

Had a feeling it was the 2.0 that was making the vape enemic. What was I thinking...dOh... logic should have told me if I liked a 2.0 ohm at 4.5v...then 2.0 on 3.7 wasnt going to do.... oh well live, learn, vape more

The EM LR (1.5ohms) on Rob's site: reosmods.com are only $3...you get about one that's no good in 10 but that's an awesome deal for a good atty- just test them for shorts before you screw them on your Reo.

Are you running a grand or a mini?

For my mini, I came to the conclusion that 1.8 ohm was the right spot for warmth and battery life... and I'm one likely to recommend Cisco attys, too.

For mods with 18650s (Grand - I don't own a grand), 1.5 ohm is the ticket... and same story as above that Cisco spec is what I like to recommend.

The hh.357 is my favorite atty. I still haven't gotten the hang of it on my bottom feeders. No matter how awesome of a squonker I think I am, I will overfeed the hh.357 at least twice a day and it spits.

The other thing to consider is trying out a 306. 306's produce warmer vapor at the same ohms and voltage. They are often referred to as "vapor canons". -- And, they are available in the popular ohm ratings (1.5, 1.8, 2.0, 2.4, 3.0 etc etc)

That one is not recommended for use on these mods. If you will notice, that center pin is protruding beyond the threaded body. If this is screwed down too tightly on the REO, that center pin will cause the gasket on the connector to compress and allow the positive and negative make a connection. Some folks have used these without any problems, but others have shorted their mods with these...repeatedly. I would advise you to stick to the flush kind.

Good choice. I love the the Cisco's 1.5Ω 510 Bridgless...

Anybody tried i06's on the Reo? That's what I was thinking to get next...

As I mentioned often in other threads they provide great taste, vapor plus a long lifespan and Issac is great at customer service but I didn't like the tighter draw they seem to have....just a my preference.

my vapage attys look different in the connector part (sorry, can't make makro pic ) never had a problem with them, on the contrary i like them a lot ...

Yep...the one with the flush bottom has had no problems as far as I can tell. Only this style does.

As for the checking resistance on an atty/carto yes just touch one lead to center post and one to thread part but make sure you chk internal resistance of your meter by touching the leads together first and subtract that off the reading you get when testing atty/carto I have a cheapy multimeter and it has 1.0ohms of resistance all by itself

As for atty choice I don't use the lower ohm ones but I've lots of praise for the 1.5ohm 357 some dare say its the best I prefer the 2.5ohm @ 5v myself
