but this one really brings me to an end when it comes to language understanding ... at the end of the thread, i had the impression the problem was solved due to changes they made to the connector... confused me a bit

You caught me...I completely forgot about that. So there were two individual issues that were occurring at the same time. The new style of atty and the faulty connectors. The connectors were changed on the REO's not to fix the hybrid issue....any atty or carto could have shorted the mod with the faulty connector. But the Hybrid atty had shorted many REOs, not just the ones made with the faulty connector. That is why we are still cautious when that particular atty is discussed.

Like I said, some are very happy with them. And it appears that those who have had really good luck with them, just didn't screw them in all the way essentially.

naa, vaping is so exciting (still is for me after 4 month intensified pleasure)...

so when it comes to recommendations concerning both - attys and juice - experiences with vaping are exposed to a variety of parameters, therefore vaping is a so varied experience...

but the hell, ab big thank you to all the manufacturers who develop new stuff constantly, vaping becomes better and better and better...

recommendations: difficult with stuff with an expiration date, delicate

but when it comes to stuff without exp.dat. there's no doubt for us Reonauten: a Reo

Yep! They will work great! The 306 bridge is just not covered by a tube. They are a smaller diameter that is why you need the 306 drip tip.

You mean like this? Sure, they're great....besides the 357, they are my go to atty.

Awesomeness... cant WAIT!! I cant believe the difference in taste even with a 2 ohm atty. cheapy smoketech. I have been using the same atty for 3 days. Usually my cartos would start to stiffen up on the draw after the first day, and by day 3 they are very tight and sometimes off tasting (sometimes I cant even get a carto to last 3 days).

Those smoke tech attys aren't bad. They could use a little better quality control, I think, as I was getting a few DOAs when I was buying them. But the good ones performed really well for me and their ohm ratings are almost always spot on.

Finally got around to using my 1.5 ohm 357 tonight. Been happy with Cisco 306 1.5 ohm and just grabbed a 357 to see what all the buzz was about. Initially I was not impressed, but after a few hours the thing came to life in the best way. Clouds of vapor, great flavor, and it didn't spit in my eye haha. I'm extremely impressed by it.

I've been vaping a Smoketek atty bought from Rob for about 4 or 5 days now and its great. Its a 2.0 and I'm using on my Kicked grand at 8.5-9 watts.

Tried the smoketech I got from Rob on my Buzzpro at 5.0v..... works GREAT. I have never been a dripper (kept making a mess)... but now I have been using my REO, I can never go back to using cartos. And the cool thing is I think the Reo also taught me how to drip better as I didnt make a mess. I knew when my atty needed juice and when it didnt.

One thing I have noticed, and this is on my Buzz or Reo....even though I have juice in the atty (and some in cup) I will still get a semi-dry vape every now and then. Even if I "suck" some juice into the atty...let it sit for a min or so to let the wick soak up the juice.

Ya..they do say on the website (I think..or maybe the video) that the HH357 has a break in period of a few hours. I have noticed the same with the cheapy smoketechs. They dont seem as strong until after a few hours of vaping...then they get better.

Hi... I finally found my personal heaven with Ikenvape IO6... is a step (or maybe two ) forward a 306. I never hit a 357..but for now I dont miss nothing. Cheers.

Right out of the box and not even broke in yet and my computer room looks like a ROCK concert with all the fog. and the taste.... WOW.

Ok... I will do that. I HOPE they last more than just two weeks.

With Cartos I would go through about 1 carto every 3 days. So in 14 days that would be 5 - 6 cartos. At $4.99 a box of 5...it would be FAR cheaper for me to just use Cartos and change them every 2 days.

I've been a fan of several different cartos for a long time and I do usually have one on my REO min... but it's hard to go back to a boge (or any other, really) carto after using a good 306 atty.

Attys are a disposable item. Except in the case of a burnt out coil, a little maintenance can go a long way towards making an atty last a while. I've more or less adopted the hh.357 maintenance instructions for all of my other attys and I've only lost one since late January (popped the coil on a 1.8 ohm cisco 510 last week) - and I have one other (a 2.0 ohm 306 of unknown manufacturer due to a vendor adding it in an order as a freebee) that is starting to feel like it's losing some performance.

I've almost completely stopped dry burning. I'm starting to think dry burns were a major contributor to my atty deaths. Now, I'm just soaking my attys in vodka every ~30ml. I blow them all out from the connector end a couple of times during their soak. They get an hour or so in alcohol and a couple of times I've forgotten about them and left them to soak over night. After their alcohol bath, I blow them out again and let them dry for maybe an hour. Then I prime them with whatever juice they'll be using and put them back on whichever mod they belong to.

Wow...you only soak them for an hour or so. Thats good news as both my 306 Ciscos have had about 18 ml thru them (with some dark juice) and needed cleaning. I tried a carto and a 2 ohm smoketech...I cant go back....

Im going to try that with one of my ciscos now...blow out..let soak another hour (been soaking for an hour now)..then blow out and wait an hour to vape it.

If I can get a month an atty I would be happy.

I hope you ment to say CARTOS are a disposable item. At $10 a pop (for Cisco 306 1.5ohm) I would hate to think of them as disposable. Or almost $20 for a HH357.

No. I meant attys. They aren't meant to last forever, with the exception of rebuildables. - I don't worry about it when an atty dies or loses performance. I throw it away and spin on a fresh one.

The hh.357 having a premium price would be disappointing if they didn't last as long as they do. I agree with that for sure. I'd be bummed.

I see what you mean .... they are disposable, but "hopefully" last longer than a carto.

Tried bathing my attys in 100 proof vodka ... for about 2 hours total. Blew it out and let it sit for 40 min or so and have been happily vaping from it all night. Tastes like a new atty. Total awesomeness.
