Either resistance will work, adjust the power up / down to find what you like.

The whole point in owning a VV/VW power device is so that you can find your own personal sweet spots with a wide variety or resistance ranges, pg/vg ratios and flavors / flavorings.
Start off at a low setting and slowly increase power taking a vape or three on each setting until you find what you like best, if you get a burnt taste turn it down.
Always vape to taste not to a number.

New vaper here folks with a ? Is there an advantage to a lower ohm coil as in the title? I'm looking for the most flavor not much of a cloud chaser. Using a Protank 2 with MVP so it's a single coil. Factory coil, not ready to build yet. Also does the 2.0 require a higher watt or volt setting?

You should try both; the lower ohm coil is probably thicker gauge wire

It might seem logical that the 2 ohm coil would require a higher watt or volt setting, but that's assuming it the same type of wire; if the 1.5 ohm coil is thicker wire, the 1.5 ohm coil might be the one that requires higher watt or volt setting.

If you save money by dryburning and rewicking, you'll find the thicker wire easy to deal with.

Maybe this post will help you understand wattages and voltages a bit better.

When in doubt, start low and increase your voltage (or wattage) slowly until you hit your sweet spot.

Good luck.

There are 1.5 ohm ones but I haven't seen 2.0's for these (actual Kanger, there are many clones). I find the 1.8 ohms to put me right up against the lowest voltage for my batteries, and one battery doesn't really go low enough. I like long pulls without any scorching. 2.2 ohms is more flexible and may be better for unregulated batteries too. I still have bought many 1.8's because that's what the cheapest source (Avail) carries.

Kanger makes single coils in following resistances:1.5, 1.8, 2.2 and 2.5Ω. However, their coils usually run a bit higher than stated resistance, so many 1.8Ω meter out at 2Ω.
