Newbie question about 1.5 ohm coil vs 2 ohm coil on Nautilus and Aerotank Mega

It seems every YouTube video I find people use the lower 1.5 ohm coils in these tanks is there a good reason for this? I was under the impression 2.0 ohm or higher would be better for variable mod because you can bump voltage higher? Is this wrong?

When you're comparing the differences between 1.5 Ohm Coils and 2.0 coils, there isn't much of a difference on variable voltage/wattage mods because as you said, you can adjust accordingly. Where this comes into play more often is for people who either use mechanical mods, fixed voltage mods, or the high/low ends of the spectrum when it comes to voltage. If you're using an entry level VV mod, a Provari, or a DNA 30, you always have the option to adjust for taste.

Ok so as far as flavor or amount of vapor goes on a variable mod such as the provari there is not a difference between 1.5 ohm vs 2.0 ohm etc...? Thanks for your help
