At my local vape shop, http://www.gcvapors.com they only have 1.8 and 2.5 coils for the Protank I got a five pack for $12.00. 2-1.8 and 3-2.5. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1371347874.707548.jpg I am using this chart to help and figure out which is the coils for me. I am new to the Protank and vaping, about two monyhs now, and I am trying to figure out which coil does what better. A friend has told me one will give a better throat hit and one will give better vapor production. Opinions?

For me, on a 3.7V device, the higher the resistance, the cooler the vape. I switch between 1.8 and 2.5 ohms and most of the time it takes a longer draw with a higher ohmage to produce the same amount of vapor. I prefer the lowest ohms (within reason) most of the time. I would agree about lower resistance having better TH, but the amount of vapor seems about the same to me. Again, this is just my opinion.

1.8 is going to hit harder and vaporize faster compared to the 2.5 is going to be cooler and vaporize slower. So thus the reason with a 1.8 you dodn't have to draw as long. 1.8 if you want that quicker draw, 2.5 if you are wanting a mellow, tastier draw with less throat hit.
Thank you for that explanation. :)

Somehow, my dear, you have made the light bulb switch on! I __thought__ I liked the 2.5 better, now I know why and what to be doing to keep happy. Thank you, thank you! (sometimes it just takes the right verbiage at the right time, ya know?)
