1.8 coils

Just switched out the 2.2 coils to the 1.8 and WOW what a difference!!! This comes from reading posts here and gathering the information. Had an issue with one in the Protank 2 that didn't seem to screw in far enough and was hitting funny. Tried another coil and viola!! The T3S worked like a charm first coil though!!

I build coils in the 1.5 to 1.8 range. It really does make a difference when your below 2.0 ohms.

Yes the 1.8ohm coils do make a major difference, especially on non variable voltage batteries.
Just remember to keep an eye on the voltage, they also tend to "burn hotter"...

From what I've been hearing, Kanger now has 1.5ohm coils for their tanks. You might want to consider that. There's no danger to your battery until you start getting sub-ohm like .6 or below and I'm guessing you're no way near ready for that.

I spoke too soon about them not leaking on the Protank. Is there a trick to installing new coils so they don't leak on a Protank 2???
