I'm there too.
Had three batteries, one died from a broken wire. Tried to fix it, damn them wires a about size of a dog hair. That one became a donor to my home made passthrough. Last night i'm switching batteries and wondering why it isn't unscrewing from the atomizer. The battery connection had broken loose and was just turning in the casing. Consequently breaking the two dog hair wires from the connection.
Now i'm down to one battery till i can either get a new one ordered. That won't be till Friday's paycheck hits the bank. Or i get my home made passthrough to work better. It tends to overheat the atomizer.
