Greetings All! I am new to vaping and am looking for help in finding the right e liquid to help me completely give up the analogs (down to two a day). I started with a V2 starter kit on the recommendation of a coworker. I'm a newport smoker and HATED the menthol cartridges and didn't like the vanilla I tried either (tasted like burnt marshmellows). I tried refilling the cartos and quickly learned that it is not really my thing. I then decided that a clearomizer was the way to go and placed an order for another 808 thread battery and some clearos from Smokeless Image along with a few NicQuid flavors to try. Success!
I really liked the cinnamon NicQuid flavor and have been using that and Sinthol as my primary vapes. I added a passthrough battery for home use and really like that setup with the clearos.
Here's the problem - I need a good vanilla liquid and have no idea where to try. I like the NicQuid liquids and think it's because it is a PG/VG mix and not just PG. The 100% PG liquids make me cough. Please suggest anything that comes to mind.

Sampler packs. Many good juice cos have them, and it's the least expensive way to do it, other than going to the B&M and trying all their concoctions. I DIY, but had to do samplers just to find out what genre, what neighborhood I needed to be in for my taste, and my wife's, who vapes as well. I prefer the cinnamon's, she likes the light tobacco's. Best to you, and good luck!

Welcome to the forum, Kaitar, and to the world of vaping! I can't help you on your vanilla quest, as I'm still searching too! Haven't liked the pre-mixed vanillas I've tried so far. But remember, taste is so subjective it's almost impossible to say "I like this, you'll like it too." The quest for the perfect flavor is different for every vaper and can be fast, or slow, and different over time.

My best general advice is to order small samples of many different flavors; keep trying; and if you try one and don't like it initially, set it aside and come back to it later. Taste changes, and this is especially true when you stop smoking and start vaping.

I will say I've had good experiences with ECBlends (their pina colada is one of my all-time favorites). Many vapers here recommend Mt. Baker Vapers. I see Mrs. T's Bakers and Johnson Creek mentioned alot, to name a few. Check out the e-liquid forum. Tons of information there! Also, at some point you may want to consider mixing your own juice to tweek out your "perfect" vanilla.

Good luck! Live long and vape :vapor:

Thanks for all the FAST replies! And for the links. I have tried a couple of sample packs, but really seem to hate the tobacco flavors all together and haven't found anywhere yet that lets you pick the mix of samples to try.
I would LOVE one day to go to a vape shop and will keep it in mind for when I travel, but I live in the middle of NE Pennsylvania and we are about 20 years behind any urban center so vaping is very uncommon here. Consequently everything I have tried and will try will have to be online purchases for now.

One of the downsides to ejuice is the information overload part. Waaay to many choices and it makes your head spin. I got hung up early on but then thought about a few logical comparisons. I smoked the same brand of smokes for many years like most. I also like beer but I only like certain kinds and most of the time I only have a few in rotation that I know I love then try a random one every now and then.

I was pretty easy for me to pinpoint my preferences with ejuice flavors. Once you find one that you really like just put it in the rotation. I have no more than 4-5 in rotation at any one given time. Every time I fill the tank I know I will love it. Don't get caught up in the whole "I love X but maybe I'll love Y more so I gotta buy it".

I've got it down to 2-3 flaves per day. Morning - day - evening.

As you test samples, if there is one you really like then buy a bigger bottle and put it in a rotation as you continue exploring other flavors.

I like evods so I have 3 tanks filled each morning with flavors I love and then have another tank that I use to experiment. If I don't like the experiment I don't force myself through it. I just screw on an old fave and forget about it.

One last thing, juice flavors are like spices. Mixing works great. I have an apple pie that I love but I'll mix it with my fave caramel or vanilla from time to time for a unique and enjoyable vape. If you think 2 might go good together then they probably do!
