So after having gotten off analogs 7 months ago via a Green Smoke kit and a small fortune in cartos later, I decided it was high time I looked into a system where I could refill the juice myself. I've been lurking here for a bit and got a feel for what was available. I decided to go with Smokeless Image based on the recommendations of many here.

Here's what I got:

2 Volt X2 900 mah auto
1 Volt X2 650 mah auto
1pk 24mg Chocolate cartos
1pk blank cartos
2 T3 clearos
1 btl 24mg Volt Chocolate eliquid
1 btl 24mg Volt Vanilla eliquid
1 btl 24mg NicQuid Strawberry Fuzz eliquid

My first thoughts - A big part of why I used GS for so long was how much flavor their cartos have. I used almost exclusively Their chocolate 24mg. So far, I am extremely disappointed with the Volt chocolate flavor. It really doesn't taste very much like chocolate. The Vanilla flavor is ok, and the NicQuid Strawberry Fuzz isn't bad, but still, I was expecting a more flavorful Vape from all. But, holy nicotine buzz Batman! I thought it made sense to go with the same nic level that I had been using, but I seem to actually be getting a decent amount more nicotine delivered by the new system.

Additionally, I filled a T3 and it is an extremely cool, airy Vape. I'll give it a little time, but I think I prefer the cartos to the T3. Maybe it will perform better with a VV batt?

so I'd be interested to know anyone else's experience, specifically with the Volt Chocolate flavor and maybe info where I could fing a good, strong Chocolate flavor.

Also, if anyone has experience with the T3 on a 3.7 reg vs VV battery.

This was just an initial order, and I'll likely be ordering a couple Spinners and 78mm bats in addition to trying out a pack of CE3s. All the HW seems to be high quality, and I suppose I just need to find the right flavor s as well as carto/batt combo.

Thanks in advance for the imput!

Here's the thing, all I have for comparison is GS flavors. Loved the flavors, hated the fortune their carts cost.

I'm Vaping the Volt 24mg Vanilla right now, and the more I do, the more I am liking it. I'll give the chocolate another shot tomorrow, but I'm pretty sure ill have to find a different, richer chocolate flavor. I'd call the Volt Chocolate more of a slight essence of Swiss Miss on top of their vanilla flavor.

I think there will be a lot of trial and error, but I'm optimistic that ill find the carto/flavor combo that fits. I couldn't be happier with the quality of SI's HW and CS.

Tommy, keep in mind that juices change after a bit, so don't toss them. They may also taste totally diff in another carto.

You still have 3 good batts, and you can buy an air controller to help with the t-3 if you want to stick with them.

--Opps, typing at the same time:)

Yeah. No telling how long these flavors have steeped before shipping. The Chocolate and Vanilla are pretty dark, but that may not tell me much. It could also take a little time to get used to different flavors.

I'm also thinking that I'd like to try a couple manuals, and since there is only a $5 premium on them vs the x2, I might as well go with a couple Spinners.

The only real problem with S.I. is that everything is at 2.8-3.0 ohms. This is great for a menthol flavor like I vape all day, but many find that 2.5 ohms is the sweet spot at 3.7 volts. Try picking up some lower ohm cartos elsewhere for your chocolate and fruity flavors, it'll really help them pop.

Smoktek, NHaler and Sterling Vapor have decent selections of 808 equipment. And if you are a carto fan, the iGo cartomizers from NHaler are worth a look. 3 ml bottom coil cartomizers make these things feel like Kangers on steroids.

Good luck!

The thing i like about SI is thier pre-filled cartos for trying out flavors, this way if it is something you dont like you are not stuck with a 30 ml bottle. Their blank cartos are the same and will take fill after fill. I have SI's Vanilla and it is ok, TastyVapor's Ultimate Vanilla is amazing. HHV's Vanilla Dream is also very good.

I like SI's tobacco flavors Desert Joe and 555. I used auto batts at first and didnt know any better, Now i have manuals and like it a lot more.

How many seconds is the draw on the Volt X2 auto? My 78mm was only 5 sec. compared to my eGo which is 10 sec. I like longer vapes.

The x2 auto has a 7 sec cutoff. More than enough it seems.

You may want to check out the Smokeless Image thread site under the Forum Suppliers category. There's alot of nice folks over there and good information on the various products.

Yeah. Been lurking there for a few weeks, but needed the 5 posts in New Member Forum first.

Thanks for all the imput guys! If anyone would care to move this thread to the SI sub-forum, that would be great!
