I found that the one year mark was like finally walking into the light. There are some rough patches during the year, but it did get easier as each month went by.

Kate, that's a good idea to start a thread with everyone who has hit one year to post and give a brief story and maybe some helpful pointers. Maybe under Milestones?

I think I said on my 1 yr post, it's more in awe of it than a feeling of accomplishment! I tripped my way through the whole year!!

Thanks all For me it was easy - I got my 510 then the next day I took a drag off the analogs that I had been smoking for about 15 years and put it right out - it was nasty LOL. A few times after that I did think about lighting up but then I remembered how nasty it tasted and never touched them again LOL

Congratulations feathersncream!!! Fantastic. I really like your idea Kate51 about a list
for one year Grads. I personally respect anyone and everyone who makes the attempt to choose a healthier option for themselves; that said, it has had a significant impact on me hearing from ECF members who continue to share and support who have one year and more analog free. It has been and continues to be a source of hope and inspiration for me. So I hope a One Year List is created to include short stories (personal option) of the journey.
