Hello all, been awhile.....

Today while stealth vaping at work, it dawned on me that it has been one year since I last had a chew! I look back from my last can of dip, to my first ( poorly advised mod ) and where I'm at now and it's crazy!

I started on the Smok Alien 220W sub ohm, enjoyed that for about 4 months while trying to find what I really needed. My next mod was a Pulse 24 Squonk mod with a Dead Rabbit BF RDA as I wanted better flavor out of my devices, it was awesome! while learning to make my own coils and do different rigs, I couldnt go back to standard tanks so my shinyitis kicked in!

My next mod was actually given to me, an Original Tomahawk 18650 copper tube mod, while I enjoyed it, it really wasn't me. Next mod on the list I got was a Gbox Squonker as I just couldnt pass up the onpoint flavor!

Then, something happened....... someone let me hit their Suorin Drop..... 50MG NKD100 Brain Freeze....Game over. The following week, I went and bought the wife and I one and some juice, I was in heaven for the next month or so as I was getting my fix better than I would over any mod I've owned to this point. Little after a month of the Drop, I was looking at my coil kit, thinking if this thing could talk it would call me an ....... for not using it. I wanted more, I didn't want to spend $5.00 per pod when I had materials to make 1,000,000,000 coils and enough cotton to last someone a lifetime, but I just couldnt rebuild the damn pod!

Then, something even MORE amazing happened, my wife bought me a Vandy Vape Simple EX! I can still use the 35/45/50MG nic salt, build my own coils AND enjoy the squonk life!

I went from 240+ mil of 6MG juice in less than 2 weeks to 30ML of 35/45/50mg juice that last me well over 2 weeks. Tonight, for ....s n giggles I took some 12MG Orange Icesickle and I must say, it's working very well!

I thought my journey to quit chewing would be a lot harder as I have never met anyone who dipped that quit after switching to vaping, every B & M shop I went to said it would probably be harder than if I was a smoker and really had no idea what to offer device wise so I was normally sold .... I really didnt need. Dont be me, more is not always needed! I've grown to despise double and tripple battery boat anchors weighing my pockets down! While my name might imply that I would be billowing competition sized clouds, I've always grown away from that as well! I still get my DTL on with the Simple EX and if I want I can shut the airflow a few and MTL stealth vape all day!

I hope there are more dippers out there that come across this, and see that it can be done if you have the mindset and proper devices at your disposal.

Thanks all! the first year sure did fly by, I had my ups and downs, bad advice, lots of buyers remorse when it came to juice purchases but now that I have my mods all sorted and right level nic juice, it's been nothing but gravy.

First off, congratulations.

And I can surely understand why a regular vape rig won't appeal to you. Nicotine is a tricky substance. As you take in nicotine, The nicotine affects your dopamine receptors, which in turn deal with memory... so, you're essentially teaching your body how you get your nicotine. For smokers, it's the act of pulling out a cigarette, lighting it with a lighter, and then inhaling and exhaling the nicotine. So, for smokers, the actual act of vaping helps to alleviate or trick the brain into thinking it's smoking. For someone that dips, it's not quite the same. I think you still have the oral fixation, and the pods are probably about the same size as a can of dip. So you'll be more likely to go with something that fits that style. Taste is important, and strong nicotine content, but the actual feeling of inhaling and exhaling is not quite as important. So for you, pod systems would be the first step. Just be careful with high nicotine in a rebuildable. At first, a strong nic strength is what's needed, but try to ween yourself down some.. Just be glad that so far, you can find the solution that worked for you.
