10,000 cigarettes not smoked!

Passing this milestone as I type! $1,800.09 not spent on cigarettes. Can't really get my head around the fact that if I hadn't discovered ecigs, I'd have smoked TEN THOUSAND cigarettes by now... Gotta go order up the cake and mix some champagne juice!

It really is scary the amount of traditional cigarettes we all smoked, knowing that each one of them contributes to a multitude of health complaints. Im not sure any of us would now vape ounce upon ounce of liquid known to have adverse affects. Some of us are even bordering on paranoid with the "safeness" of the liquid we choose to use.

I guess I've been blessed with a high level of common sense, because I refuse to buy into the notion of "absolute safety"... of anything. I DIY my juice, and whether the four ingredients in it may prove problematic in the future, I know vaping is safER than smoking.

Totally agree - at least we are not vaping arsenic..

It is jaw dropping to realize, aint it. I go to the banner site just to read( I dont post it) but I have 8,000 in half a year. Good Golly! I am afraid to do the math to extrapolate that to 25 years. And the money I have spent...I try not to think about that or I would be in tears. What If I had invested all that money....WhAAAAAA!

I took the time to figure it up one day. I smoked approximately 300,000 cigarettes in my near 40 years of smoking before i quit 2 years ago. About 20,000 avoided since then but my gosh....

Three. hundred. thousand. cigarettes. smoked.

Well I average about a 10 mil every two days, so by my calculations I'm saving about 150.00 per month.
But then add in the hobby buying. So maybe if I can just stop til next year, I will come out ahead.
The main thing though is I'm not smoking..

I've been smoke free now for two weeks after vaping for 3 1/2 months now. Finally just said f it a couple of weeks ago and stopped buying smokes (would smoke 5 or so a day, rather than 25). It's bizarre to me not smoking and only vaping.

Still have urges to smoke, but I do feel a bit better. I thought perhaps this wasn't going to work for me months ago.
