Hey guys this is my first post on this awesome forum. My name is Bradley and i am 100% and utterly a noob to vaping. My girlfriends sisters fiance turned me onto e cigs but as he travels all over the US and Canada for work its hard to ever ask him a question. I have been reading and have learned a lot so far from everyone but i still am unsure about some of the dos and do not's. I am more worried about doing something wrong and ruining pieces or not getting the most out of my e cig. I hope yall dont mind but im probably going to ask some pretty straight forward answers but like i said i know nothing .

Here is my set up i just purchased.

I have a ego vv2 Mega with a kanger T2 2.5 ohm tank on it with the same 2.5 ohm coil in it.

1. My vv2 came with 3/4 a charge. Should i let it get low first before charging it the first time? just charge it fully now? or let it die then charge? Sorry i know its a silly question but i want to learn properly how to do things and get the most life out of my devices.

2. How much do i need to fill the clearomizer the first time. I have read 3/4 of the way the first time and let it sit for 5 minutes to let the wicks soak up.

3. How low can i let it go in the clearomizer? Like do you normally vape it all the way till its gone then fill with another flavor or let it get somewhat low then fill with another flavor or more of the same flavor.

4. Lets say i use my first full tank starting off and all the ejuice is all gone, i know i wont want to fill it up to 2.4ml everytime. Can i fill just a fourth of it and then vape till its all gone or somewhat low and refill. im afraid of burning something up.

5. If I only fill my clearomizer a fourth or half of the way and i vape for a few minutes and then decide to eat should i stand the device up or lay it on its side and how long can i leave it like that.

sorry for the long post but like i said i really know nothing and want to learn from the best. Please help a poor noob out and happy vaping!

Also add any other tips of dos and do nots

Welcome, wow lots of questions there.. LOL
let it run out before recharge
fill until it wont get into the center tube, that's will over fill and flood it.
I have separate tanks for each flavor. if you mix flavors without cleaning you will get both and depending what you mix it may taste horrible.
I let it go until I notice its low or the vape changes. to weaker. keep filled as often as possible
I la mine down most of the time never been an issue for me but suppose upright would be better. I just built stands yesterday which you can see in my pic.

when it low just fill it up. no sence putting a partial fill and have to do it again later.

Not sure of the "proper" answer here I used mine till it died and then charged it and it has been working just fine.
2. How much do i need to fill the clearomizer the first time. I have read 3/4 of the way the first time and let it sit for 5 minutes to let the wicks soak up.
I try to stay at 3/4 of the way and let it sit this is a pretty successful method for me.
3. How low can i let it go in the clearomizer? Like do you normally vape it all the way till its gone then fill with another flavor or let it get somewhat low then fill with another flavor or more of the same flavor.
I dont let mine get below 1/4 of the way down and i always fill with the same flavor and have a different tank for my other flavors. No cross contamination this way. If it gets too low you start getting flooding and gurgling and such.
4. Lets say i use my first full tank starting off and all the ejuice is all gone, i know i wont want to fill it up to 2.4ml everytime. Can i fill just a fourth of it and then vape till its all gone or somewhat low and refill. im afraid of burning something up.
Nothing says you have to fill it all the way up or even over half but as stated in my answer to #3 i dont let them go below 25%
5. If I only fill my clearomizer a fourth or half of the way and i vape for a few minutes and then decide to eat should i stand the device up or lay it on its side and how long can i leave it like that.
I always stand mine up but for short periods of time it wont hurt to lay on its side.

Yeah i know its a lot...woops. So pretty much i need to fully fill it the first time and then after that i can fill to my desired level? Reason im asking is i just received all my hardware yesterday and my buddy is giving me a few flavors to try so i want to break my device in properly but try some flavors as well with what i have. thanks for answering my LONG set of questions :D

Welcome! I am new to forum here myself and have been vaping strong for 4 or 5 months. I can help you some and im sure others will chime in.

1. I Almost always charge anything full then use it till completely dead, its usually better for the battery.

2. 3/4 is good because You dont want to fill to much and flood the mouthpeice or cause leaking. let it soak for about 3 mins, maybe take a few dry puffs to get it started before you fire it up.

3. What i do is, if i want the same flavor i will fill it when its about 1/3 left of juice. If i want to put another juice in, i will vape all remaning juice. I then clean my tank and coil/heads all that in warm water and let it dry. That way there is no lingering leftover juice flavor, although some juices are known to stick around in your tanks if its very potent.

4. Yeah you can do that, you can just put 1/4 juice in and vape a little bit. I usually fill mine up because i have different tanks for different flavors. Since right now i only have 2 working tanks in rotation, i only run 2 flavors. You could do this if you get colored tanks you can remember what juice is in what and just switch out the tank/clearo what have you.

5. I wasnt a heavy smoker myself, more of a cigar/pipe guy. Vaping has pretty much completely replaced that, so it does work and taste WAY better. When i know im not gonna vape for awhile i unscrew my tank from the batter and stand the tank upright, lay the battery down. You can lay it down and it shouldnt be a problem with the tank on it, i do this often and never have trouble but i also never fill it to the brim ( which you shouldnt do anyway)

Hope i helped some, i learned a lot for myself. The forum is full of information and remember to search the forum incase somthing is already posted! Keep Calm and Vape On!!!!!!!!

Thanks yall. After reading all the i burned my coil stories or my tank flooded stories i wanted to make sure i did everything right off the bat the first time. And Blacklabel i feel ya i am more into the cigars/pipes myself. And unfortunately i only have two tanks as of right now so i think ill have to be making another purchase sometime soon..which was ultimately going to happen though :p

You should charge the battery until fully charged.

2. How much do i need to fill the clearomizer the first time. I have read 3/4 of the way the first time and let it sit for 5 minutes to let the wicks soak up.
Fill to the top of the graduated markings on the plastic tube.

3. How low can i let it go in the clearomizer? Like do you normally vape it all the way till its gone then fill with another flavor or let it get somewhat low then fill with another flavor or more of the same flavor.
A clearomizer will generally work best if it is at least half full, however you can let it go until it is almost empty, as long as the wicks stay wet.

With a top coil clearomizer (like your Kanger T2), you will need to frequently "tip" or "tilt" your clearomizer as the juice level drops to keep the wick wet. If not, you may get what is called a "dry hit" which will have a bad or burnt taste. Do the tilt every few vapes.

A bottom coil clearomizer (BCC) is not gravity dependent, so you don't need to do the tilt. The wick is in the bottom of the tank. These are the newer Kanger T3 and T4, Evod, and Protank clearomizers.

4. Lets say i use my first full tank starting off and all the ejuice is all gone, i know i wont want to fill it up to 2.4ml everytime. Can i fill just a fourth of it and then vape till its all gone or somewhat low and refill. im afraid of burning something up.
You can do that and see what your results are, but as said before, a clearo will perform better if it is at least half full.

5. If I only fill my clearomizer a fourth or half of the way and i vape for a few minutes and then decide to eat should i stand the device up or lay it on its side and how long can i leave it like that.
It doesn't matter. No harm will be done if your device is left in a horizontal position.

Hi, welcome to ECF and congrats  Seeing as your questions have been answered just a bit of extra info. The wicks are generally made of silica and, in a PV, are impossible to burn.
Best of Luck.

Welcome Brad!!! You pretty much did the same setup as me for my beginner rig. Although, on the Ego VV2, I really like the Kanger T3S for all of the reasons Baditude pointed out.

Sorry about the gadget sickness but they always say misery love company. One can hardly call vaping a misery though!

I am waiting for my very first Provari in the mail. I imagine our collecting won't end anytime soon. Meh, cigarettes were expensive!!! My collecting habit won't ever approach the amount I spent on those damn things and this is so much more fun!

Anyway, welcome again and happy vaping!
