VG is just a preference.. it's creates more vapor but has a sweetness to it that some people don't like. PG doesn't have the sweetness or the huge plumes of vapor but has a great throat hit. PG isn't bed for you, in fact it's a commonly used ingredient in thousands of food products that we all consume everyday as well as being responsible for the vapor in asthma inhalers. Some people are allergic to it though (mild reactions only) so they stick with the VG exclusively.

Lots of people prefer to have their juices made with 80% pg and 20% vg so they can have the throat hit and the plumes of vapor. Neither one is bad or good though.

I'm not sure where I read it. Maybe I made it up hah. But when you say they prefer 80/20 mixes to have the throat hit, are you saying 100% VG does not produce a good throat hit?
