I was at 70VG 30PG for my first year + of my vaping life, I just started going 100VG. Thanks to our friends here at ECF I'm now all VG I use a protank and just got a DCT with a Smoktech replacement DCT atomizer - 1.5 Ohm Its not a cartomizer no filler. Going all VG is wonderful. I mix my own juice, much cheaper and more fun!

Ive been meaning to ask someone, but I dont know anyone personally, I vaped A 60/40 VG and I switched to some other stuff and now i have na itch at the back of my throat, but I also just stopped smoking 2 packs a day about a month ago, happen to anyone else when they first quit. Thanks for any insight

I've heard that a small amount of members have some allergic reactions to PG. I cannot tell you what their symptoms are. You may want to do a search on PG. I like 50/50 but Boba's Bounty, one of my very favorites, is 100% VG and presents no problems for me. It's much thicker so I usually just vape it in a Iclear30.

What do you dilute the VG with? Isn't it too thick? I was unable to get it to work in my protank as it wouldn't wick...

If you find 100% VG too thick, you can dilute with a DROP OR TWO of distilled water.....
It's probably best NOT to dilute an entire bottle of juice...rather, a drop or 2 per TANK (ie., 2-3 ml)...and see how it goes..
If you make it TOO thin...you MAY have to add "straight" base to thicken it.....and this will further dilute the mix (and decrease the nic content if used....)....

Pure VG in the protank works great. It bottom feeds so the thickness does not matter. It did take about a tank full to really get going, if you have a protank you should be good to go. When the juice gets thick after a few tanks clean it out and rotate the atomizers. I'm new to 100% VG and asked for help yesterday here on ECF. The protank was recommended.

Also with the protank and pure VG a couple of priming hits help the wick. I do not dilute. I refuse to do that to my own juice.
