Do you get 3 blinks if you press the button with no atty screwed on? Taking the atomizer out of the circuit will eliminate a shorted atty. You should get a constant LED light then.
If one of you have a voltmeter, I'd be interested to know what you read between the center terminal and the outer ring when you press the button without an atty installed. Another thing would be to compare with a known good eGo/Riva battery and measure the depth of the center terminal to the top of the threaded outer ring. Somehow, your atty is contacting ground to the center post when it's installed.

Once the clearomizer is off, I get no light action on the Twist battery at all. Not when I press the button once or five times rapidly. I read somewhere to hold the button down for ten seconds, which I got nothing from that either.
I wish I did have a voltmeter. Unfortunately I do not.
I've been checking my email and no reply back from Ovale yet.
I got my 1000 mah from Ovale today. I bought it from them because it was the only place selling them that I could find 3 days ago. I unscrewed my ego-c top from my ego-c 650 and put it on the new 1000 mah. Set it to the low setting. It worked just like my 650. Tried vaping it at upwards settings one by one. The thing works great. I found at the top setting I got that dreaded burnt taste. 4.0 on a LR cone A type was all it could take. I'm loving my ovale 1000 mah. I've only had it for 3 hours now, and used it on a old ego-c LR atomizer. Still working fine. It may be your clearotmizer that is giving you issues.
It's the battery. It does not work. Tried using it with 510 atty (LR & SR), Ego T Mega atty (LR & SR), Boge carto, Smoktech carto, & charger. Nothing.
I don't see you tried it with the ego-c cone and ego-c attys. When I read your post earlier today I was concerned, cause I knew mine would arrive today. I'll test mine with the other t's and clearomizers I have tomorrow, and let you know.
Ok, I couldn't sleep leaving you hanging. I screwed on my clearotmizer, my old T's they work, better than ever at the top end. Dang, OvaleUSA should replace it. I'm really sorry for your issues your having. I can only share what I'm experiencing with the same product.

Guess they got a few bad batches of 1000 mah ego twists (I think mainly silver ones?). The guy was nice enough over the phone, but not terribly helpful.
They said they're expecting a new shipment... could take one to two weeks...

If you're going on tour, maybe make a list of vendors in those areas and stop in for one. What kind of tour? Are you one of the celebrities that are here incognito? lol If you're Charlie Sheen, I'd like to have a word with you on the ecig I've pre-ordered months ago from your ecig site,lol.

Yeah, mine is the silver one. I still haven't received a reply to my email to Ovale. I don't know if I can wait two weeks. I might just order another one from somewhere else and ask Ovale for a refund.. Unless Ovale offers a discount or something for all my undue stress and stuff.. Kidding. (No I'm not).
Welp, after a couple of emails back and forth, I accepted Ovale's offer to replace the defective silver Twist with a black one (the silver one wouldn't be in stock again for another week or so). I just got a confirmation email that the black one has already been sent and that I can send the silver one back. Now that's some quality service when an online company resolves an issue and ships a replacement all in the same day.

I was afraid I might need an official joyetech charger, but the generic 4.2v ego charger I had from liberty flights worked okay. I got 3 days of moderate use before a few moments ago when I decided while reading this to check if it was 3 clicks or 5 clicks to lock it.
This thing rocks, I locked it in a bit over 4v, and didn't fiddle any with it before checking the lock feature. I hope it lasts longer than the ego-booster that came out last year. Seems many people were not able to get 6 months out of that before it failed.
Even if it lasts only 3 months, it looks better than the ego-booster and it costs half as much.

I think you're right about this, but the guy I talked to at Ovale said he's testing them now so they don't ship out bunk batteries like the one I got.
My eGo C Twist replacement just came in the mail and it's working like a charm. It came charged up and five clicks turned it on.
