I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on an ArtBoxz with foam insert to use as a resting place for my PV's. Does anyone know the dimensions of the ego fully assembled (batt, boge carto, cone, and drip tip)? Also, what do you use to cut the foam?

These boxes are over priced IMO but they are nice and I really need something as Cross pen box that I had been using is BTS now.

1000mah ego-C (not the vv twist), with a boge standard 35mm carto, and a standard 510 drip tip comes in at just a hair under 155mm in length for me (6 inches), and 14mm diameter at the base. Can't help on the foam cutting, sorry.

Thank you, that helps. They sell pre-cut foam as well so maybe I could give them the measurments and let them do the work for me.

For the cuts you'll have make, I strongly recommend an Xacto knife with slim triangular blades. Get several blades and a super fine whet stone for resharpening.

Here's a lil' trick to make the fitting easier. Use an electric knife to slice the foam to half the thickness. Then you only need to cut out on one half of the foam. Set the cut foam on the other half and viola..

I knew my handy men would come out of the wood works. What you say sounds very good in theory. I, unfortunately, lack the tools to do this job correctly. Somehow I just don't think a pair of scissors will do the trick.
