If you're going rta, subtank plus or billow. If you're going with premade coils, the atlantis v2 or delta II.

He doesn't want a rebuildable unfortunately. I've also heard great things about the Freemax Starre or something like that. If he ever wants to venture into rebuilding, a Subtank would be a good start since it has an RBA deck.

You'd think with the 49,274 threads a day on sub-ohm tanks every day I would know by now.

More options is never a bad thing. Try to buy gear that you can grow with to avoid wasting money 2 months from now when you want another mod. I was content using 15-20 watts for almost a year. I just bought a 100w device myself and love it around 60-80 watts. Things change...

That's another great option if money isn't an issue. Just because you bought a 50+'watt device, you may run it around 12 when you start, but like breeze stated above, you're already set for an upgrade when the time comes

The present high-wattage craze is just a sales gimmick if you ask me. 10 W max is - and always has been - ample power for any normal vaper. Vape cool and get more from your batteries and coils!
What I find most interesting about the mega wattage boxes is the max voltage. Example, I do believe the Sigelei 150 maxes at 7.5v, but the 50w sig can do 8.5v. My mini ipv2 can push 8.5v, and my I stick 50w can push 10v

Idk about the 50w, but the sig 100 & 100+ SAID 8.5, but were really only pushing 7.5.

The Atlantis 2 with a .3 coil needs at least 50 watts but shines at 70 watts. I prefer the Herakles or Starre. For a RTA I like the Goliath. I'm using a Hellboy RDA atm and I'm not a cloud chaser at all,. I'm a flavor guy who needs more vapor than 10 watts can supply in order for me to feel satisfied enough to not smoke. I don't understand why a lot of tootle puffers seem to be annoyed by this. We're on the same side
