Hey guys,

I saw a New Amsterdam vape video where they explain that excessive air in a bottle can lead to flavour loss. I've been making 10ml amounts in a 30ml bottle and after 2 weeks, the flavours are nowhere as pleasing and complex as they were after a week.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is it advisable to make a 30ml amount for my next attempt, so as to eliminate the excess air factor?

Thank you!

Ps. I did not use any EM or other flavour muting additives and I also aged the juice naturally. No speed methods (heat, frother, etc.).

Pps. The recipe is Gambit v2 by ADV_search.

yes it can lead to flavor lose over a period of time. All the aroma volatiles can go into the air in the bottle. that's why you can smell juices and such. Its same with the Flavorings when you open the bottles. I don't know what amount or that kinda stuff but know it does.
There is other reason that can lead to flavor lose too. Too much flavoring is one. Danny45 has some good blogs I think that has that stuff in it.

Many things can lead to flavor loss over time, Air, Poor NIC, Excessive additives, Over flavoring etc...

Or it can be time itself. Some flavors get stronger over time some get weaker. Making more would not likely solve your issue if you think it's air because the bottle does empty as the mix gets used.

Maybe the answer is make smaller quantities and don't steep it just vape it.

You may find some helpful info in my blogs. link below.
