My goal, worry free, of course, good vape, TH, ease of use...

I like the vivi nova and I like a carto tank but the best for hassle free, TH, flavour and volume of vapour that I have personally found is a bottom feeder with a 306.
No rebuilding, just screw on the 306, fit a drip tip, fill the bottle, squeeze and go.
The only hassle is possibly having to clean a bit of juice if you squeeze too hard.

There isn't any pyrex tank for Vivi Nova (just for Vivi Tank @IBTanked), but if you're into clearos I would recommend you to give Kanger T3 a try. It uses a bottom coil system as suppose to top coil on Vivi Nova, so the vape is slightly cooler but it does have better flavor and less dry hits when vaping high VG base eliquids (don't need to dip and twirl since the eliquid is fed by gravity). It's rebuildable even though you said you're not into rebuilding it. Lastly, it's cheap, so it won't hurt your wallet to give it a try.

Most of the systems mentioned are good, after you figure them out. None of them work well if they are not used properly. The key is to put the time into any one of them to figure out what they can and can not do. Once a person figures out how to get the vape they want within the working parameters of the particular device they will find that they are all good, and then they can make logical choices of which one(s) fit their particular needs best.

I've been using an ego-C Twist with SMOK dual-coil cartos for awhile now. They are the most hassle-free accessory I've found so far.

After seeing all these posts about the tank/carto combo, I'm curious about those. Is the flavor better than just the carto? Are there places that sell both the carto and tank together so I can give it a shot?

I guess I had a bad experience with cartos DCT tank from HC, it was good indeed, but flooded too much on me, not sure, with the Vivi I have no issues at all, its so much easier.

But I might go ahead and do some tests with cartos again to compare...

Does the startdust also lose flavor? Not even sure I can distinguish But that T3 sounds interesting, although I didnt go so well with T2 myself (some attys would fail for no apparent reason, it broke the tip before i could even finish the atties I had for it).

The Vivis are really practical...

Right now Im with 2 systems always available Vivi nova (2) and Ego-C

Perhaps Ill stick to that or even consider Vivi Nova and T3 (or stardust) instead of the above line up (Vivi + Ego).

I have to check in terms of $$, still not sure if maintaning 2 systems is worth it, but from the perspective not only of having a totally different system as a "backup", and also I see theres the Flavor factor. So I guess its worth it...

One newbie question... Why T3, Stardust, are made for Ego specifically? I mean, to use it on my Provari I need an Adapter. why if theyre all 510? Isnt there an alternative to them that works on both without adapter? Maybe my back luck and Ill get a new adapter, but I felt it kind of made the experience worse using adaptor.

Get yourself any one of the many GOOD carto tanks (I use J-tanks), and toss that junk DCT in the Zombie box. IMO there is a simple reason why so many complain about DCT's leaking .. the o-rings are a loose & an inconsistent fit, so you can't get the hole size in the carto right. (why you now see 1 hole, 2 hole and 3 hole cartos for them)
Cartos are a good alternative, but cutting corners with cheap tanks isn't the way to go.

I use carto tanks and have started using Ikenvape 801 Fusion cartos. The Boges and SmokTech were so hit and miss it was frustrating. So far so good. I also drip a 306 atty and just recently a 801 atty from Ikenvape as well. While I think I like the 306 a bit more, the 801 is pretty damn good as well. As far as clearos go, I have not found one I like. All too finicky and muted flavors. I have tried vivi V1 and v2.5 CE3 and Kanger T3. Didn't care for any of them. Like TJ said, you need to invest the time with one system to decide it is not for you. With me, I was getting so frustrated with cartos that I almost quit. I decided to try Ikenvape because of the reviews and have not had the issues that I had with other cartos/vendors. I am not saying that Ikenvape is the best or you won't have issues, but I think you can limit the frustration. So far his products have worked for me. I also suggest trying dripping if you haven't. It may not make good sense while you are out and about, but the flavor and production from dripping a 306 is awesome, plus you can change out flavors quickly.

Have you tried dripping yet ? That's what I started out with, for the ease and un-complicated-ness of it and am still doing it for those same reasons.
At first I was getting leaks by putting too much in, but I've since learned how to keep it going more cleanly. Once a day or maybe every other day I spend about 2 minutes cleaning it, and it remains a very reliable, problem free and enjoyable way to vape.
If you're driving for any length of time, you may want to keep another system handy in the car, but other than that, it is so easy to drip a couple of drops in out of a small bottle that is way smaller than a cigarette lighter, and vape for 5 to 10 good drags.

Just an option.

I would go with the standard resistance cartos 801 Mega Fusion Punch! STD

you will need an adaptor 510-801 Fusion Stealth Adjustable Adapter

Those cartos will fit in a DCT if you want to try them first. I have not tried the IKV fusion tank so I can't comment on the fit and function.

I just drip now. It's really the best way. I've been using a silver bullet/HH.357 for almost a year now and am on my 2nd atty.

Yeah, I pretty much just drip a 306 atty now, but I can understand how it may not be for everyone. The flavor and th are better than anything else, but ease of use away from home can be a problem. I should try the hh357 one of these days

Mike, I thought you recommended Ikenvape, but I understand you meant the cartos. What tank do you use/recommend?

Im really in doubt between the Ikenvape (the tank is made of plastic?) and the Phiniac, which seems really top notch quality but much more expensive (and some great designs). Perhaps Ill give a shot at the Phiniac with your tip of cartomizer... You think Ill notice difference just because of durability or also in vaping between Ikenvape, IBTanekd and this more expensive Phiniac?

Maybe Ill even get the Ikenvape for now and if it works out, who knows, as I have more $ to spend, Id get the more expensive and nice looking Phiniac tank.

About drip tips, I just didnt adapt. Ill try some more. You guys use that generic 510 drip tip right? I just find it a bit annoying to have to drip juice all the time although I know the taste is really good

So the 306/810 are better for drip then 510? Really makes much difference? Then I need an adapter, right?

I have several DCTs and a IBTanked. The IBT is way better than the DCT but Phiniac looks good as well, as do a host of other glass tanks. If money is tight use the DCT. I you have money burning a hole in your pocket, get some glass tanks.

I have 4 of the 306 LR attys from Backwoods Brew. I would post a link, but his store is closed for the holidays. I love them. Can't say enough about them. The 306 has a 510 thread and requires no adapter, but also needs a 306 drip tip.
Recently I picked up a IKV 801 SR Mini Atomizer 2.5Ω and like it almost as much as the 306 lr . If you are getting the Fusions from Ikenvape and want to try an atty try an IKV io6 SR Atomizer 2.5Ω with a Frosted 306 Drip tip or a IKV 801 SR Mini Atomizer 2.5Ω with a Adapters make sure it is a 510 battery to a 801 atty adapter. The Stealth adapter I posted for the Fusions will not work on the 801 dripping atty.

since you already have a Provari to use with tanks/cartos, why not try a bottom feeder with a really really good atty? Should knock your socks off, vaping directly off a good atty, can't beat the flavor.

Hi, everyone

Almost 1 year without analogs!

Im wondering for any advice. I started with EGO-T, have tried several things, Ego-T and C tank system, cartomizers (boge - didnt like too much, Health cabin cartomizer, etc), systems similar to vivi nova such as T2 (broke before I finished my coils) but not near as good, Health cabin's tank where you put a metal cartomizer in the tube - many floods etc!), etc.

I had really good experience with vivi nova. although i did get a few bad atomizers, most are good and it ran well. my goal is to have good vape, TH, when I most need it...

I have also a Provari. So right now Ive been using the Provari mostly and sometimes Ego-C as I have coils for it.

The vivi has proven reliable, non leaking, etc.

1) I see the vivi has great reviews and feedback from users.I read about some pyrex vivi nova like system like Mom & Pop. Is it worth it? Or stick to Vivi nova? as I know, new pyrex system means also more costs, a new type of coil, etc.

2) I see other new systems like the iTaste, are they worth a shot? Sometimes I like to have 2 mechanisms.

I strongly suggest you try some bottom coils. Kanger T3 work great, have much more vapor than the Vivi, and it's on the warmer side of bottom coils. I love CE3 bottom coil carts, and when (and if) they arrive the Phoenix Raven (CE3 in a tank).

I suggest every now and again to try something new. You never know what's around the corner.

I got a Phiniac regular tank and getting the cartomizers (801 fusion) from IKV with the adapter.

Just to confirm on drip tip, wanna give it a shot.

- IKV io6 SR Atomizer 2.5Ω - this one is 510 connection doesnt require adapter, just requires an io6 drip tip, correct?

- IKV 801 SR Mini Atomizer 2.5Ω - for this one Id have to get an adapter 501 battery to 801, correct? And a drip tip not needed as already comes with. But if I want, what drip tip do I get for it, 306?

Is this correct? Which one would you recommend and how long approx they last?
