When I first started my kit came with a clearomizer. It worked... for about two weeks. I went through two more. I've since washed my hands of clearomizers.

I tried a Boge single coil cartomizer but the filler mutes and changes the flavor of my favorite juice. (BTW, I use a Torpedo VVV and a Kgo VV, locked at 4.5 volts.) I recently received the SmokTech v2 tank (SmokTech V2 Tank Kit), but wasn't impressed. The filler in the cartos totally changes the flavor.

Currently I drip using Low Res 510 attys, but I'm still searching for my perfect tank. A lot of Youtube videos and forum members use or mention the ViVi Nova. I've heard horror stories about these things, but it seems like everyone has one or uses one. I heard the V3 is a little better about leaking and what not.

I am totally on the fence with a ViVi Nova. My cousin got one and it shorted out his device. I can't afford that kind of risk. So, will someone who used to be a dripper and used the ViVi Nova tell me if it's worth the time, money, hassle? I LOVE dripping, but when I'm at work I want to fill and forget and just be able to vape. My cartos taste nasty (I've "primed" them, made sure they were full of juice, etc., and they always taste nasty.)

The rebuildable clearos (Stardust) and the Vivi Nove are basically the same thing, just in a different bottle.

Also if you are looking for something that tastes like dripping, sorry but there isn't anything that tastes like dripping except dripping from the bottom. (somehow that sounds bad)
So the REO might be what you are looking for.

Like you, I love dripping. I bought a vivi nova that I use with my ego twist. For me, its as close to dripping as I can get, taste wise. I don't find the vivi mutes flavor. I do however think the juice used has a lot to do with it. I currently have two tanks with the same ohm head, one is strawberry and tastes phenomenal, the other is chocolate and is just kinda meh. I have no problems with shorting of my batteries either.

Absolutely the Vivi Nova and mini are worth the money, as long as you get the real deal. There are a lot of fakies out there, I hear. Buy from reputable dealer. I have 6 of them, no problems. My wife uses them as well as two friends and we all love them.
No leaks, great flavor. Performance is adjustable with different resistance heads.
I got mine from Got Vapes.

I did have some leaks with the older model Vivi Nova tanks. The newer ones have never leaked on me and I use them all the time now. The new models have air holes just above the 510 threading, while the older models have the air holes on the bottom knurled flange, so definitely get the former.

I gave up on the Boges a good while back due to the lack of taste issue you already mentioned.

If that's true, I might just save my money. A coworker recently bought 4 rebuildable clearomizers, and as soon as he tried it on another friend's Kgo VV (4.5 volts), it popped the clearo immediately.

I've done a ton (and I mean a ton) of research online, and EVERYONE has a ViVi Nova. But... If they are exactly the same as the Stardusts, I will probably not buy one.

I love my Vivi Nova 2.5. The only thing is you there is a little silicon thingi on top of the atty that has to go back a just like you got it there is a beveled side on the metal piece and a flat side. I also don't have to run as high a wattage and get more vapor. I only had one leak and that was because that piece was on wrong and I didn't tighten up the top good. I will be rebuilding my attys'. I do still use an Ego C and a rebuildable clearo but for the long haul the Vivi Nova is my choice. Much better vapor easy to fill easy to clean.

Well, like I said. I guess the only way I can decide is to try it for myself. So, my next purchase will be a ViVi Nova V3.

I re-tried my carto/tank from SmokTek on my Kgo VV at a 3.3-3.4 volt setting and it actually tastes just like the drip. I bought replacement cartos so I'm going to try my butterscotch in it again. Have fingers crossed.

Also, I am bookmarking this thread. When I get my ViVi Nova V3 I will update this post.

Just retried another carto soaking in butterscotch with my SmokTech carto tank. With pineapple upside down cake, it tastes delicious. It makes my butterscotch (my all day vape) taste nothing like butterscotch. I guess I'll use this tank with my pineapple upside down cake, and use my attys for my butterscotch.

At 4.5 volts, that doesn't surprise me. probably had a 1.8 ohm head in it.
Top coils like the Nova or stardust run hotter than bottom coils like a normal cartomizer/atomizer.
As an example, I nornally drip in the 7.5-8 watt range (around 4.5v depending on the atty) My nova tank with a 2.8 ohm head in it is about the same amount of heat at around 3.6-3,7 volts. Most of the problems folks have with Novas/Stardusts are caused by over powering them.

I purchased my ViVi Nova Mini on Saturday and all my other clearos have been sitting idle. This thing is amazing and I can't wait till the 15th when I can order a few more. I want to order at least 2 more for myself and my bf ... The stardusts are good ... but this thing blows away all other things I have used over the last 2 years. Cleaning is a breeze and, in fact, I just cleaned the head at work a few minutes ago because it was clogging and I am sitting here vaping away again with no diminished flavor or TH.

Yeah, all my Stardust clearos are just collecting dust now too. They work okay I guess but the flavor from them is not quite as good. And the Nova's have higher capacity. :D
