12v battery mods-

Now we have a new cycle battery and set up. Had one comment on utube saying its not a good idea. Seems to work just fine.
What do you think.
No power.
Computer don't work
Laptop ran out.
cannot charge your ecig, 18650's or 18350's




I can charge this off my solar panel system easily enough.
Big question to me is: How long will she go without needing charged.

I'm about a week away from a similar mod: I've got the same board and will plug it into a 12v, 2.4AH camcorder battery (SLA). I'm glad to see the proof of concept work is already done I was actually thinking about buying a big vase and making a Hookah , but I only bought a pair of boards. Maybe that's a good enough excuse to pick up a few more

No reason why this can't work, and it should last forever. Of course if you have a 12v system you can use one of the myriad car USB chargers and have the ability to charge other types of devices as well. Or you could go with a solar to USB type charger (goalzero et. al.)

The Z-Max module is a specialized boost converter. The OKR-T/6 is a buck converter. Those are nothing alike.

I would not make such an assumption, and doubt that it would work.

Put the buck converter in a box for safety and nicer to use, Still vaping off it without a recharge.
