I bought a joy ego from puresmoker and yesterday the one I gave to my sister died. I contacted them about it and was told had a 14 day warranty. Received it on Dec 4th, gave to my sister on the 6th as early christmas present so she had something for work and wouldn't go back to analogs. So far I have bought 1 joye 510, other sister had an ego loved hers so bought myself one. Ended up giving it to my son so he would quit smoking, Bought red ego from puresmoker, one for me and one for sister. Daughter jacked me for red one. Bought a mega ego (great but to big for work} So bought 3 passthroughs. Every place I have dealt with have been great. Flavor Apprentice awesome company, Arctic Vapors the same. E-cig express great. Then I hit a $55.00 bomber. Is that normal practice? If so I will never buy nor recommend them to anyone. Since I started vaping October 30th, I have converted 9 people from smoking to vaping. Guess who will never be recommended by me. Any other Noob out there have same problem as I have had?:(

That really is a bummer. I have learned to pay close attention to warranty info on sites for this reason. PS is not really doing anything wrong as long as they are up front about that 14 day warranty.(not saying it is right) I think that it shows that they do not have much faith in their product. Sorry man, it doesnt seem very fair.

That's a rip. Especially on manual batteries, they shouldn't really fail from user error like flooding or anything, whereas an automatic battery can actually get exposed to the juice if you pour in too much. Volcano ecigs has 12 month warranty on their batteries and they should work with all other 510/eGo type products, so they're a good vendor if you want a long warranty. I haven't had any problems with mine or read any reports of if they give you a hard time about what *caused* it to die, but again since they are manual batteries, I would assume it's pretty easy to get a dead one warrantied. I was worried about using a low resistance Cisco atomizer on mine since some people say it can kill batteries quicker, but considering Volcano also sold me the LR atty, I again wouldn't expect any problems trying to replace a dead one.

"The Joye eGo Carries a 14 day warranty on Batteries and Chargers". That's plainly listed on the Puresmoker FAQ Page. If the policy was hidden I could see a definite gripe about it but it's there for everyone to see. Whether it's shorter or longer than other vendors it's plainly listed and not hidden so I don't see how the vendor can be at fault about being up front about policy.

Given that other places do carry a longer warranty on the same product so I personally would look elsewhere for an Ego but I wouldn't fault Puresmoker for being up front about it.
