I have a question about the performance of these two batteries. They are both 3.7v batteries and of course the 18650 is larger and has a higher MAH rating for greater longevity on each charge. It seems to be that I get a stronger hit on the 18650 and I don't know if this is purely my imagination or if there is any real reason why this would be. I'm talking about both batteries being freshly charged. Can anyone help?

I think that the 18650 holds a true 3.7v charge throughout most of it's use. I have noticed this as well when I got a chuck. The vapor production was out of this world for 3.7V. I'm sure before to long someone will hit you up with all the correct info you are looking for. I think I'm right though.

Try to consider it may be the PV you are using as well. If there was a single PV that would allow you to use a 18650 and a 14500 you could do a real world comparison. As someone else mentioned the Chuck gave them a better TH and vapor, it might not have been the battery but more the Chuck it's self. There are great Mods that use the 14500 battery that also give great TH and vapor, and some that are just weak in this area, as there are mods that use the 18650 that could be weak in TH and vapor as well.
