14650's a couple of questions...

I have just aquired a second hand E-power and would like to buy a couple of spare 14650 batteries for it and I see from your website that you do them. What is not apparent is whether they are the protected type or not?

Additionally, are you in the Bristol area like I am, do you allow collections?

Nice to see a fellow Bristolian on here!

We do two types of 14650:

Trustfire: state they are protected on battery sleeve, but with no PCB so I am not 100% sure
IMR High Drain: not protected but high drains are regarded safer than standard li-ions although care is still advised.

We are not currently offering a collection service but are looking into possibilities for future.
