So many people have asked for my help that I just automatically offer it when I see someone struggling. It's one of the only things I like about being tall!Were they TALLER than you? It beats waiting around for an official person to come bring an official ladder, lol! I rarely have to climb up the shelves to get something from the back of the top shelf and I certainly don't mind sharing my height with others!
I have been known to hide on the top shelf of the toilet paper aisle and throw TP in people's cart when they weren't looking
I've done that, too, even in front of store employees! They are all, "Uhhh, ma'am? I'll go get a ladder..." and by then I have my item and I'm on my merry way.

I feel like I'm not even that short.. I'm just short enough to never be able to reach things, lol. Normally I would climb on the counter to reach the top cabinets, but with no bottom cabinets that is a bit hard. [emoji14]
Thanks....lol....started making them for Max, then started getting some orders. I donate some for online auctions for rescues, and if I can get a spot at events, I sell there and online.
