The only thing is that glycerin and flavorings has only been tested and approved by the FDA for ingestion, not inhalation. That is the big unknown. What is the long term effects of inhaling glycerin and flavorings into your lungs?4 ingredients, all FDA approved. End of rant....lol
True....but I have to believe its still less harmful than cigarette smokeThe only thing is that glycerin and flavorings has only been tested and approved by the FDA for ingestion, not inhalation. Glycerin has been approved for fog machines for a long time for performers. It has been proven safe for inhalation in that capacity. The only thing is that glycerin and flavorings has only been tested and approved by the FDA for ingestion, not inhalation. I forgot about the fog machines!Glycerin has been approved for fog machines for a long time for performers. It has been proven safe for inhalation in that capacity.
Yep, and they also use them in dance clubs and sell them to the masses for Halloween! It cracks me up that the same people who go to shows where fog machines are used and never have a problem (we use them at NA dances!) will complain about being exposed to it from a vape. I have gone a couple rounds with my sponsor about this. She swears e-cigarette vapor bothers here but she is the first one on the dance floor when there is fog, lol.I forgot about the fog machines!
that's the rub....we hear all the time "well we just don't know what the long term effects will be, they haven't been around long enough"One of Jim's cousins started the formaldehyde argument with me....I asked him to show me one piece of proof I was vaping it....he came back with some quote he'd read...and then I told him none of my gear can even get close to the temps they uses. I should mention he also has an inhaler.....lol....and I told him the PG in his inhaler is what I vape....
I just say, "because I made it myself"I just blew someone away last week with that. She asked me how I knew what was in my juice and I rattled off the ingredients to her. Shut her right up, too!![]()
flavorings....a little question...but since it is MOSTLY pg based...not worried at all.....Glycerin, has been inhaled for decades....with zero reports of any hazard or issuesThe only thing is that glycerin and flavorings has only been tested and approved by the FDA for ingestion, not inhalation. We have one in our garage...lmaoooooooYep, and they also use them in dance clubs and sell them to the masses for Halloween!
