Update time : My dad seems to be doing well, but he is still in a lot of pain. They are hoping to have him go home Wednesday, so they are only giving him Tylenol. I talked to him on the phone last night and you could hear the pain in his voice but other than that, he seemed to be in pretty good spirits. He said he will be glad to eat real food again, lol. He has 3 large incision sites - one on his belly button that is roughly 4 inches and two on each side. My mom sent me a picture of the one on his belly, but I will spare you all, lol.

You hit the nail on the head. All these Fad vapers cause a lot of damage to the vaper's reputation by blowing clouds around non-vapers, essentially forcing it on everyone. Had a few of those at Valvoline, they'd be vaping on the floor in front of customers when the SCM wasn't around. The customers hated it, I'd have to apologize up and down to the customer and get them a discounted rate to keep them coming back.

My feelings exactly. Maybe that's why I feel embarrassed to be vaping "in public." Even though I'm not blowing any more than a good puff on a cigarette would produce...
Also, I went and wasted 25 minutes reading the rest of that thread, and there weren't even any fireworks. Just a "we've discussed this enough" post and a lock. I wish I could get my 25 minutes back! LOL!
That's just what I mean...there are still too many people who think vaping is smoking. We need to educate people, and blowing a cloud in their face isn't doing that. It's rude...lol

Lol...I'll vape in public, but I don't feel that vaping qualifies me to vape where smoking is not allowed, if that makes sense.

Yeah, rude as all hell. The funny part about the un-or-misinformed is the fact that EVERYONE has the world's information at their fingertips now thanks to smartphones, tablets, netbooks, etc, and it seems nobody knows how to use it - or they believe the first thing they read.

I bet a lot of his pain is from the gas they use during surgery. Once that finally dissipates he will feel loads better. Exactly! If I get comments when I'm out in public, I'll at least try to educate someone. You'll always get one who knows everything...lol....and then I just let them spew stupidity
There are 2 vape shops here I won't even go in because it looks and smells like a college frat party.
That's crazy! That's the main reason vapers get such a bad rap. If a smoker did that to me I would be really mad and I think we should be just as respectful, even if our life choice is not poisoning those around us. It wasn't fair for you to have to deal with the fallout, either.
