Nope, it certainly can't hoit, lol! I do know I feel better when I am on it. It helps keep me centered. I used to have a really bad problem with highs and lows (mostly lows) and I never realized that low Vitamin D exacerbates that problem. I am much better off just staying in the middle, lol. Those extremes are for the birds!!

I started taking it because I had zero energy. I think it was also fluctuating nic levels, thinking back, but the Vit D did help with energy and mood. I still have to watch my nic levels, though, because if they get too low I start getting depressed, and if they're too high, I start getting arrhythmias again. Either one is bad, and it's so hard trying to find the perfect balance.

There's a thread in the E-liquid section (don't ask me why it's THERE) where they're discussing (and that's putting it in very polite terms) the pros and cons of smoking v.s. vaping, and someone said there was zero evidence that nicotine all by itself caused any kind of heart disease. I was going to post and tell them that in MY particular case, there is, and if there's one person, there are bound to be others, but it's turned into a cesspool of vitriol and should be banished to The Outside and I didn't want to get any on myself, so I didn't post. But too much nicotine causes ME heart problems. All these years, I thought it was caffeine, and it was nicotine the whole time. I can go to zero nic and have NO heart arrhythmias, but be depressed and crabby and lethargic, or I can have nicotine and be happy and energetic but sometimes have an arrhythmia. NOTHING else is different, so it's gotta be the nic.

@cooladdict Apparently a company on ebay is selling Verizon Galaxy S6 Edges real cheap. It is the 126 GB version and they're asking $500 for it. That is almost $400 cheaper than what Verizon is charging for the phone.

New Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge G925 128GB Unlocked GSM + Verizon 4G LTE Smartphone

I'm pretty sure the price drop is because Samsung will be revealing the S7 and S7 Edge this Sunday with preorders also starting on Sunday.
Uggghh, I wish I could get it right now!! That would be awesome. The 7 sounds great but I would be good with the s6 Edge, too, as long as the sucker worked right. Dang I really need to find out if we are getting any kind of tax return this year or if we have to pay. It would be so cool to not have to be under contract with Verizon. That is an unlocked phone, right? Oh wait, it's Verizon. Good enough. :)

And on another note, I think I've cloned Star Mountain's Afternoon Delight. :) It's very close, but I believe I have the wrong watermelon flavor. I need Capella's Sweet Watermelon, I think. I added a little ethyl maltol to compensate, but it still doesn't have that "deep red" ripe watermelon flavor. I need to try the different watermelon and see if that does it.

If anybody wants to try it, what I ended up with was 20% watermelon (I used FA), 10% green apple (TFA), 5% golden pineapple (CAP) and 3% EM. I know that seems like a lot of flavor, but I had to double the watermelon because I couldn't taste it with my first attempt, and now it seems just about right. Just needs a bit more ripeness is all. And it's not too much flavor! It's GOOD!

Now I'm gonna try mixing it half and half in my tank with the Unicorn Milk stuff and see if I get that same dreamy ambrosia flavor that I could vape all day for the rest of my life. Or not. Rich told me I AM a chemist after all, and I said, no, I'm just a good cook. ;)

Wow, you are SUPER sensitive to nicotine! Have you tried to stay off of it for an extended period to see if it is nicotine withdrawal that causes the depression? I don't know that I would be able to even test that theory myself. I have to take a mood stabilizer daily and if I miss 2 days I have one horrible day where everyone is out to get me and life is no good, so I never, EVER miss my meds. I can't imagine having to endure that for an extended period while I detox just to find out if I can live without it, so I just continue to take it. As I said earlier, I really like being in the middle!! :)

Actually, all phones sold by Verizon (or is Verizon branded) are unlocked. And since all Android phones are "world phones", you can switch the mode over to GSM and pop in an AT&T or T-Mobile sim card and it will work, although the LTE connection with the US GSM carriers are limited to just one frequency. The only thing that is "locked" is the Access Point Name (APN). Verizon phones only has the Verizon APN and you have to manually add the non-Verizon APN in order to enable data.

It's too bad that the news media here in the US would never air a spot like this.

Facebook

The doctor being interviewed said that while they don't have long term studies on vaping, the longest term study was 18 months, everything shows that vaping is 20 times safer than smoking. When the newscaster asked about the studies cited on the internet that says that vaping is harmful, the doctor basically called it junk science and misreporting the study results. One study he cited found that when nose cells were exposed to high concentration of vapor over a long period of time, it showed some cellular damage after 8 weeks of exposure. So the media reports that vaping is dangerous. He said that what the media didn't report is that in the same study, exposing the nose cells to cigarette smoke for 24 hours actually killed the cells.

And he debunked the whole argument about nicotine being addictive. He said that only nicotine in cigarettes, combined with all the chemicals in cigarettes, are addictive. If nicotine by itself was addictive, he said that people would become addicted to NRT's like gums and lozenges.

The longest I think I went was a week, maybe. I don't remember. But when it occurred to me that it could be nic withdrawal, I started right back in. I HATE being depressed. But hey, at least I can recognize it! I know a lot of people can't seem to. I realize something is wrong when I want to say nasty things to people, or just stay away (forums, of course, there ARE no people around us in real life! LOL!). Then I know something's wrong. Usually, I'm happy and upbeat and eager to join in conversations and be helpful and stuff, but sometimes, ewww, I get cranky. LOL! So, as long as nic is OTHERWISE good for me, I'd like to stay on it.

I've had this heart thing since I was a kid, and I always thought it was a birth defect or something. It's like a short circuit, where the nerve impulses run around in a short loop instead of a regular beat, so my heart beats twice as fast, and because it's so fast, my blood pressure drops to "dead," or close to it, and I can't stand up without feeling faint, and walking is like sprinting up a hill. And sometimes I have to go out and do CHORES with that going on. Anyway, it took me a long time to figure out it was the nic, and I NEVER suspected it was caused by smoking, because I've had it all my life. Then I realized, oh yeah, mom and dad both smoked... so I smoked, too, by default. Once the light bulb went off, I started lowering my nic levels as far as I could, until I start feeling crabby, and then have to raise them up again. There's a delay, so it's taking me a long time to find the right level. I'm thinking it will end up being around 2mg. That's with my sub-ohm tanks, of course. If I was still using the Protanks, I'm sure it would be around 12 or so.

It's been quite the adventure, though, I can tell you that! LOL!

Go read the reviews on Bull City's site for TFA's pineapple first. I was actually thinking of ordering that one on my next order and comparing. It has a better rating than the Capella's. And unfortunately, we have a small bottle of FA pineapple that smells like a pine TREE, and the reviews on that say it tastes as bad as it smells. I'm so glad I trusted my nose on that one and didn't use IT in this juice. That FA bottle might get tossed at some point, I think. Or it might just get "lost" one day and I'll never be able to find it again, who knows? ;)

I'm so happy. Our snake just shed for the second time since we got her. The first time was the day after we brought her home, and the shed was broken into multiple pieces and she had a piece stuck on her tail. I attributed it to stress and fluctuating humidity levels, but I've been worried for the next shed. Her shed this morning came off perfectly in one solid piece. :D

At least you know you're feeding her good! LOL! She's gwowing UP into a big gurl! :)
Yep! She is definitely growing. She's grown about 2.5 inches longer and gained a whopping 60+ grams since we got her. I actually just ordered her more food and had to order a size up. At least this size will last her a while. :)

Not the best picture, but this is from measuring her a few days ago. She was in blue getting ready to shed at this point, so not as pretty and vibrant as normal.

So I finally got around to trying out the RBA deck for the Cubis. It came pre-built with a vertical coil in it, and a spare horizontal coil in the package. The vertical coil is a standard kanthal coil at 0.5 ohms. The RBA is a bottom feed, but it also has two wick holes in the side of the coil barrel as well. This provides a lot better juice flow and allows the vertical coil to be used up to 75 watts. I actually like the RBA a lot better than the factory built coils. I'm vaping the RBA at 35 watts and I'm getting a nice warm flavorful vape. With the factory coils and my max VG juices, I can't go above 20-22 watts otherwise it starts to taste a little burnt. The RBA will give me the same slightly burnt taste if I crank it above 50 watts.
