YIIIKES! We have AARP for our vehicles, but they wanted $350 a month for my oldest son when we put him on it and we decided that with Shaun we would put him on a separate policy. It ended up being MUCH cheaper to do it that way. He still pays more for his own insurance than we do for both of our vehicles but definitely not $350 a month! I don't know how these insurance companies expect low income people to manage. It's the law to have insurance but you have to pay through the nose for it.
Prior to us getting dropped, we were paying $550 a month with State Farm for 4 cars. After we got the non-renewal notice, State Farm offered to let us stay with them, but we would have been moved into their high-risk company and our premiums would have gone up to $1,500 a month. My employee has a discount with Met-Life, and when I got a quote from them, they wanted $3,300 a month. We ended up going through AAA, and they set three of our cars on one policy with a company called Mapfre and my daughter's car on her own policy with Traveler's. The combined premiums for all four cars is just under $1,000 a month.

We had State Farm ever since we moved to NY back in 2002, and had them cover our cars and home, so over 13 years we had probably paid in over $50k in insurance premiums. Even with totaling two cars, they still made money on us since the insurance payouts were much less than what we paid in in premiums.

Okay, that harry's razor I got Jake is no joke. I was walking to the bathroom with it [not in it's case] semi-tripped [the little bit of good equilibrium I have goes out the window when I'm sick] on my own foot and the razor just barely brushed my leg, and I looked but didn't see anything. Then I got in the shower and soon as water hit it, holy ...., it stung and bled so bad. I decided not to use it.
ouch! I hate getting cut by a razor! It stings like a ....!

Your too funny!

I have always wanted to wax my legs, but I can never get myself to stand the hair long enough to be able to wax. I love waxing my eyebrows!

How many Smurfs do you have to squeeze to make a 30ml bottle of ejuice?

:) I am like you I do not like going to get sruff looked at either, but if I am worried about it it helps to calm me. I hope your lump is nothing :)

No call yet :(
Ughhhh, that's the kind of stuff we kept running into with my dad's test results! I told my mom to hook him up with a patient portal and she said he doesn't have the patience for that. I told her SHE needs to do it! I set up all of ours because it's ME who gets the results anyway, lol. She could set it up and monitor it for him. She said she didn't think of that... I really hope your hubby is able to ge them for you. I hate to think you have to go all weekend not knowing. :(

I am sure the lump is nothing. I lost 85 pounds last year and it's very possible it was there the whole time but I never noticed it until the "deflation," lol! They want to rescan it and possibly do an ultrasound of it. I am off work already so I will call them right now and get that scheduled, lol!

I'm not sure how much I take (me, the compulsive label-reader!), it's supposed to be one caplet a day and I started with 3 a day then cut back to 2 a day after a couple weeks. Rich got "double strength" stuff last time he went shopping, so I just take 1 a day now. Maybe I don't even need it anymore, but it can't hoit. At least until sunburn season starts, anyway. ;) Plus I'm getting plenty of A, D, C, and B in our raw milk, but I was definitely having a problem a couple months ago and the additional D3 seems to have helped.

Vitamin D is a fat soluble vitamin, so it won't just flush out in urine like water soluble ones do, that's why you can get too much of it.
Nope, it certainly can't hoit, lol! I do know I feel better when I am on it. It helps keep me centered. I used to have a really bad problem with highs and lows (mostly lows) and I never realized that low Vitamin D exacerbates that problem. I am much better off just staying in the middle, lol. Those extremes are for the birds!!

It is frustrating! My side has been hurting constantly since the hida scan. When they injected the stuff to replicate the pain of gallbladder issues it felt exactly like the pain I have been getting. I am almost hoping it is my gallbladder, because if it isnt then what is wrong with me? :( It scares me to think about if they tell me its not my gallbladder. I would think that since the pain replicating gallbladder stuff felt exactly like the pain I have been getting, then wouldn't that mean that it is my gallbladder?
It sure seems like it! Why else would the pain be replicated if it isn't? At least if it's your gallbladder you will know how to treat it, so I hope that's what it is, too! We can live quite nicely without a gallbladder. Not so much with other organs, lol.

OMG you sound so much like me! I cannot be trusted around sharp objects, lol. I have many scars from some unfortunate oopsies while holding knives, razors, chisels, etc. One I even sliced my leg wide open on the corner of a mirror I was holding. I was just trying to move it, lol!

OUCH!! That's horrible that that's the discounted rate!! I imagine insurance in New York is really high, especially in New York City. I would be terrified if I ever had to drive there. Too many cars and way too many people. :D
