mj, i honestly believe its a case of buyer beware. vape stores are trying to fill the exploding niche, and joe public doesnt think about looking online. then there are shops whose sole goal is to bend over as many unsuspecting people for as long as they can then get out. the good ones like my one mom and pop are always price competative, when they can be of course,
Lol...John, who is usually working on Friday nights (and wasn't tonight) gets a kick out of seeing what I've recently won. He keeps telling the owners the going prices online is about half, and they need to be more competitive, but of course they don't listen.

now that is odd, nagini just goes in the aspen, oh and if you have a tractor supply close to you, a huge bag of aspen pet bedding is only 11 buck thru them vs what you would pay at a pet store
Yeah it's weird, but I don't mind it. It makes it easier to clean up after her. I did get our bag of aspen from Tractor Supply, too. :)

Why B&M shops are going under....Vaporesso Target kit on FT is $57 after coupon. Its $119 in the shop. Why, why WHY would anyone pay twice as much??????
Because the B&M will only buy maybe 5 or 10 Vaporesso Target kits while Fasttech will buy 500 or 1,000 kits, and because of their quantity purchase, they are getting much better prices. The owner of the B&M that I go to basically said that the prices that places like Fasttech and efun.top sells their stuff at is basically the wholesale price, so the B&M's can't compete since once you take into account the additional cost they have to pay for shipping, trying to match their prices would mean that they're selling it at a loss. There is a certain amount of profiteering if it costs them $60 to purchase the mod and then they turn around and try to sell it for double the price.

I know...but it still makes me sad. The big guy tried to talk me into the pink nano the last time I was in.....lol.....and I had trouble convincing him I could buy it for 1/2 price online.

shops should be selling for about 10-15% above on line prices...dats it.....they don't make their profit off of gear, but juice. The problem is they get greedy, thats the way my closest shop is.....and why I don't buy any gear from him any more. He was selling the Hcigar vt200 for $209 plus tax......that is $60 over the MSRP...when most places were selling lower then msrp

For the store that I go to, the owner does check prices online. Two of the places he regularly looks at is My Vapor Store and Vapor DNA. He sets his prices against them, so his prices are always within $5 of what they sell for, some a little higher, some a little lower.

I love their juice, they make it all in house....don't sell any other brands. It's competitively priced, but the prices on gear....just makes me sorry I can't buy there. Well, I could...but...why??? Id prefer to support a local business, but DAMN!!!

I remember when I first started vaping....I would go to every store near me that sold vaping stuff just to check it out. There was a smoke shop where one side of the store they sold cigarettes, cigars, loose tobacco. They also had one section that sold hookahs and the electronic vaporizers that is used for waxes and other stuff. And they had a small display case that sold vaping stuff. They had the old Sigelei 150 (the old metal box mod) and they were asking $199 for it. And this was back when it sold online for around $80-$90.

I got my purple nano for $55 after the coupon. He was selling the pink for $120. That's just crazy!

And there is another smoke and vape shop near me that sells coils individually. This was back pre-subohm, so they were selling Protank 2 coils for $4 a piece (back when you could buy a 5 pack of coils online for $10-$12).

It's the I want it now factor.

Got bf a Reulaeux a few days ago. Paid $62 in the store after my employee discount cuz he wanted it NOW. Explained to him I could get it online for $45, and he still ended up getting it at the shop cuz he didn't want to wait. Some people are like that.

I totally agree though, shops over price a lot. Our Subvods are going for $45, Cuboids for $70, and Cubis tanks for $40. Online you can find those for $30ish, $40ish and $16. A 30ml of house juice runs $18 and premium is $22...

yes, but those are still in reasonable price range for the devices.....my local shop is selling the RX200 for $90.....just about all of his stuff is literally double the on line prices....it's disgusting really.
