Depending on the flavor I exhale through my nose, but I never lung hit. As for the 16 seconds, I've had my button stick twice on me. Yup, the auto shutoff works. Normal hits are maybe half of that.

It's funny how many different ways there are to vape. I usually do three draws, one primer to get the coil hot, another short shallow draw that I exhale through the nose and then a longer deeper hit. I guess you would call the last draw a shallow lung hit. Still nothing like I did when I was smoking since those were full deep lung draws.

Ouch deep lung draws on an analog?

I have to do the small pre-draw thing on certain tanks with certain juices so I know what you mean on that score.

Until I started vaping, I had no idea anyone ever smoked cigarettes that way.

My brother actually smokes that way now. After my dad died a couple of months ago I tried to get him to quit and start vaping. The first time he took a big lung hit (in my defense, I did forewarn him), I thought both of us were going to die. Him from chocking to death and me from laughing so hard.

Back in the day, there were smokers and puffers.
If you inhaled to your lungs, you were a smoker, if you just drew it to your mouth, you were a puffer.

Now I don't care. I'm a vaper. Thank God.

Vaping is definitely a bit different, though some times I still do a full lung hit if the juice is smooth enough. Most are not.

How far back in the day are you talking about? I was a smoker for 20 years and never encountered cigarette lung hitters....maybe everyone around me were just puffers.

Now I'm confused... and I smoked for 30 years. I would take a draw off the cig, hold it in my mouth, inhale to my lungs, exhale. I vape exactly the same way. Is that a lung hit or a puffer? Is it deep or shallow? Seriously, I never thought about how I or anyone else smoked.

By the previous terms, that's a puffer. By my terms, completely normal ;)
