Hello All, I am new to mech mods and am seeking input on this battery:
http://www.aquavaporcig.com/efest-16500-Product.html

I have a Tesla M4 and it takes a 16500 battery. It came with an ICR type battery but I know I need an IMR... Trying to make sure I'm safe.

I can't find any info on the efest battery linked above, about the maximum drain or "C" rating.

I am hoping it has a higher amp rating than the current battery, which is 3.3 Amps.

Thank you.

It's going to be extremely difficult to find this information. Having done research on batteries in the past, I have as a general rule found it difficult to find consistant specifications for Efest batteries. Without knowing the actual C-rating of the battery, there's no way to know its amp rating. My guess would be its only a 4 amp battery.

Efest has exaggerated the specifications of their batteries in the past. The battery you linked above says on the wrapper that it is a 1200mah IMR, yet the vendor states twice that it is only a 900mah IMR battery.

Efest claims its purple 18650 2500mah battery is 35 amps, yet an independent tester states that it is a re-branded LG18650H2 2500mah battery with only a 20 amp continuous discharge rate. Efest 30 & 35 amp batteries

This is a rebranded LG18650HE2 cell. Careful: max continuous discharge rate for this cell is 20A *NOT* 35A as advertised by Efest.
