Thanks for the pic Qorax... I'm stalking the guys at vapourart as we speak.... I think they might sell me a unit to get rid of me... LOL

I noticed you have a Sophia rebuildable atty... been looking for one of these to use with my tanks, how do you like it?

I love it, my fellow Torontonian :

Grew up kennedy and bovaird, apple factory is as far as I got out.

Okay... so now that I know where you live, it's all on you qorax... just bought a Sophia and company.... (company is the accessories that cost me more than the atty)... damn, ..... adds up.

$187usd later (140euro), didn't see that coming, but once it was in the checkout couldn't say no. They trick you with the $70 Sophia, but then your like... oh look a long body with integrated drip tip, and 15mm mini tank, cool. I can build my own coils, but those ceramic pieces... hmmmm better pick up a 5-pack of coils, oh.. and some seals just in case, wow cool drip tip.

anyways.. now I can't wait.

also noticed your Senisis in your sig, was looking at the woody version for a pipe I'm getting, any good

(your signature is costing me too much money).

Congrats! You cannot go wrong with your Sophia... it's just awesome. BTW, do not miss on the GP Spheroid opportunity... this is another topper we cannot do without - especially when having a 14500 mod.

Just an update, I've received the arrow genesis and have been using it the last few days.

It's not bad, its a nice genny, of course it's claim to fame is that it won't leak. The idea is that you close the drip tip, and then close the body (by twisting both) and you can lay it any which way with no leaks.

they havn't lied, it doesn't leak, but a few things...

1. the drip tip is easy to close and open because of the markings on the tip and body, but the body doesn't have the same markings. This makes it extremely difficult to know when it's open/closed, especially while driving. I don't know why they didn't put some type of markings on the glass tank and boddy like they did on the tip. The solution here is to make a small mark with a sharpie marker when it's open spanning the tank and body. Don't know why I have to do this on a $140 device. The only way to see that it's open/closed is to look at the 1mm air holes to see if you can see through or not, more difficult than it sounds with shadows etc... plus the tank and seal are good enough that it can be difficult to spin. I usually end up taking the tank off (praying there's no juice left in the body to spill) seeing the wholes and then putting it back on. This kind of defeats the purpose of the tank... Again, a sharpie will fix this, but It's hard to bring yourself to do this with such a nice piece.

2. I bough this device to have a genesis style atty that can be pocketable... it wasn't to replace my GP Spheroid, but to complement it at times when I wanted something different... Again, it doesn't leak, but I wouldn't pocket it. I can't say that this would happen because I havn't tried it, but the top tank section can be removed by pulling it off (just a seal), it's a tight seal, but just a seal. If this was in my jeans and I bent over, it would probably push the cap off, and probably wreck the SS wick and setup in the tank. I feel safe with this device in a suit pocket, but not in pant pockets.

These are pretty much my only gripes with the unit. It is a nice unit, although the only thing it really has going for it is that it can be closed so that it doesn't leak. That's a pretty good option, but paired with the fact that the cap could be removed easily, it kind of counter defeats the locking/no leak mechanism.

This device has a great idea... (no leak genny), but it misses on a few key points.

My Recommendations,

If this device had threaded connectors and O Rings instead of just O Ring seals it would greatly improve this device. Firstly it would prevent me from worrying if this will come apart in my pocket, and it would make the tank section (juice tank) easier to clean than trying to pry apart the seals.

Here's a link to the Arrow Genesis at eonvapes in Canada.

They are the only place I could find that sells it, which is ok. They where good to deal with, and shipped it fast.

The fascinating GP Spheroid...

In 16mm there's currently nothing better than the GP Spheroids. Besides looking good, ahh great, they also are:
1- Best in the flavor dept. Very Ithakaish
2- Kickass in TH ~ you will have to cut back your nic levels√
3- With a microcoil you get Pinoy type vapor production√
4- Easy to build√
5- Easy to maintain√
6- Easy to wick and coil√
7- Easy to fill / refill√
8- Never leaks√
9- Immune to Air Pressure changes ~ go fly√
10- Comes with a customer service par excellence ~ that's a GP guarantee√

Once you have one - you are likely to go for another... luckily it comes in three iterations :)

soooo nice.

That's kind of what I'm looking for...but to be honest, the only thing holding me back is that price. I really can't see spending that much on it even though it's the exact size I want/need...

The search continues lol

I feel that if it was threaded and full proof it would be just slightly overpriced, but after receiving and using it these past few days, I can honestly say its way overpriced. It's not a bad atty by any means, I just think $70-$90 should be this atty's top price.

If you really want a no leak genesis, this is really the only option, I think their capitalizing on this, just too much.

I disagree widows...I honestly think I could fiddle with a cheaper genny and get it to not leak...I do it everday with my ihybrid clone lol. Never lost a drop of liquid, and we're not even talking about a quality made product here lmao.

But yes, straight out of the box I am sure you're right, but they're really overthinking the system quite a bit on this one. A threaded cap with a 1 way check valve for filling + air hole would be all that's needed. I understand there's not much room inside a little 14500 top but I still think it's out of the realm if you ask me.

Actually the system they have is simpler than above, plus above could still leak, the idea they have is that there is no way to prevent a genesis from leaking into the deck, instead they just sealed the deck.

I'd be interested to hear about how your genesis doesn't leak... is that them not leaking with care, because I have plenty that don't leak because I take care in making them not leak,

but can you flip your genesis upside down and put it in your pocket for a few hours? If so, pics, do tell.

A tight pinched wick is all it takes really. And by asking can I put it in my pocket upside down for a few hours is kind of a moot point, as it normally doesn't stay in my pocket without coming out to vape every 20-30 minutes lol.

For the most part, you're right...it's more about taking care of what's in your pockets more than it being just leakproof. I put mine in my key pocket and it fits in there snug enough to not pop out when bending over. I think personal awareness is where this comes into play a little more. I carry concealed (firearms, not ecigs lol) so I am very aware of what's going on inside/underneath my clothes. With my hybrid in my key pocket all day the only juice I get is some splatter inside the cap from usage not from leakage.

A tight pinched wick does not prevent a geny from leaking when on its side, geny's leak, a lot. A geny in your pocket upside down is a moot point FOR YOU because you use it that way. No offense, but the post wasn't written for you.

I recognize that taking care for it not to leak is possible, but that's the point. I want a device I don't have to worry about. I want a device I can put in a bag or briefcase without worrying about its orientation. I have multiple devices with me all the time, so I might not be using one of them for hours.

Sippy cups where designed not to leak because kids don't pay attention to their orientation when drinking... the solution for kids is not to say.. well just keep the cup upright... that's not a solution to a problem that is the opposite of just that... If this problem doesn't effect you (because you don't have kids), then the solution/problem is irrelevant to you, but is not irrelevant (others have kids)... lol, this is a moot point because I don't have kids.

No offense taken ;-)

We went from a bottle to a cup, and skipped the sippy cups at my house lol. If my 2 year old could afford to replace the carpet in my house after he spilled juice on it...then by all means, he could walk around the house carelessly and I would be ok with it. BUT since he doesn't have the 800 dollars just laying around in his GI Joe piggy bank, I'm afraid he's marooned to the table when he wants something to drink lmao.

You've got balls my friend, everytime my wife gives my kid a cup I have an anxiety attack. My kid (2.5yrs) also doesn't have any money... what's with these moochers anyways.

WidowsSon - this few atty which i know can fit Mircostick.

1) HF Mini Micro Best ! setup. But hard to own 1.

2) Penelope V1 - no leak but is wick style atty.

3) kayfun mini - wick style atty.

You can't possibly know this......

The Penelope V1 or V2 (as your second post states) WILL NOT FIT the Microstick.... hoping no one buys one based on your recommendation.

Good atty or not, it won't fit. Personally I like to stay away from rebuildables that use non resistance wire.... just more crap I have to stock and mess with during build.

Never heard of the HF Mini Micro Best.... do you have a link?

And yes, the kayfun mini will fit... it's 15mm I think, the microstick is 16.5mm (designed to fit any 16mm atty or smaller)
