18 days vaping - all juices now tasting salty sweet, but not in a good way.

Analog free for 18 days and going strong.

I've received some wonderful juices from different vendors. All of them I loved at first. In the last few days I've noticed after 3-5 vapes, all of my juices start to have a real strong salty/sweet taste.

I've tried different atty's, dripping, and the tank - but so far all of my juices seem to turn salty/sweet, but I know that can't be possible!

Has anyone else had this experience?

It's probably just a matter of your taste buds changing after being coated with the cigs for so long! They will probably change more before it's all done! Some people go through a taste dead zone for a while and then it all comes back together! While I can't speak for everyone that was my experience and some others I read!
After a while I discovered food doesn't taste like I used to think! I love to cook but am adjusting my use of spices and such now that I can really taste things!

The tongue can only sense sweet, salty, sour, bitter and umami (msg)

If you don't let your nose have some of the vapor, then you will only recognize some combination of the above flavors because every else about the flavor of ejuices is aroma (since there is no chewing texture and no visual image). So for example, a cherry ejuice may taste a bit sweet and sour on the tongue, but it's not cherry without the aroma. let some vapor waft out of your mouth so your nose can catch some on the inhale.

Ok. Good to know. I was wondering if this might be the case. I'm glad to hear it will probably change again. Maybe I need to get a strong menthol and see if that helps in the meantime. Thanks for the input!! :)

I do french inhale quite a bit actually, cause it was a GREAT way to taste some of these flavors. I'm still getting an icky salty/sweet flavor after the vape. So the flavor from the vape actually seems pretty good, but it's the after taste that's getting to me now.

It goes away if I stop vaping, but that's not gonna happen for very long. Fingers crossed this will pass.
