The reason they are saying no is because most battery chargers are going to just pulse you're battery back to life. Pumping it with electricity flow until it reads high enough and even then it will just slow down to a trickle but it will still be charging.
You wouldn't want to stack batteries as then the same amount of juice would be going through both and if they weren't exactly, I mean EXACTLY the same voltage, they one would overcharge, probably overheat, and then be bad news bears.
I'm sure someone could chime in with more technical terminology but that's the jist of it.

What if i stack the 2 batteries? not use metal stuff?
stacking batteries = not no but hell no

When you put battery "cells" in series you divide the voltage output from the channel between the two batteries...the 4.2vdc used to charge a single cell would be 2.1vdc between the two (never allow Li Ion voltage to fall below 3.0vdc [ok 2.7vdc] otherwise it might not charge safely!!)..effectively KILLING both batteries because they will equalize BELOW the safe drain voltage of Li Ion. the above images are NOT batteries...they are extensions (think of it as stacking 4-10 nickels on the negative side to make the battery longer but electrically the same [also unadvised!!!])...they allow a 35mm battery to look like a 65mm battery in size only, but electrically the same...

are you saying you can charge 2 18350 batteries , one on each side but NEVER place (stack) one on top of the other like in a flash light ?

Yes, that is correct. One battery per charging bay. Never stack 2 batteries in one bay. Don't try to innovate because of convenience to you; always practice safe battery habits.

If your charger doesn't accomodate the smaller 18350 batteries, you need the proper battery spacers before using those batteries in that charger. Statistically, more battery incidents happen during battery charging than any other situation. Batteries are at their most vulnerable state at this point.

Which charger do you have? We might be able to locate some spacers for you to order if you need them.

I don't currently have one but I will be ordering on Monday as soon as the new monthly billing cycle on my cc starts.
