Can I use non-rechargeable batteries in a PV?
I'll try to find some 18350 AW-IMR or the equivalent for my PV that uses them at Radio Shack -- if not, can I use the same size battery in a non-rechargeable? I just need batteries for a couple of days until my extra batteries get here.

I couldn't find a battery thread, except for battery problems, so I am posting this here.

Thanks guys and gals!
Sandy

You don't say what PV you are buying batteries for. It's worth mentioning right here that the fellow in Colorado who suffered injury from his e-cig exploding in his face bought his batteries from Radio Shack. Using any battery that isn't recommended by the manufacturer of your mod introduces a risk.

That said:

You might find some non-rechargeable 3.0v 16340s, but I'm unaware of any non-rechargeable 3.7v 18350s anywhere like a radio shack or batteries+ etc. If I were you, I'd just order some AW 18350s from one of the places that ships fast (RTD Vaper or Super-T, for instance).

Thank guys. I found my backup PV, I only had one! The other just broke. I think my lesson from this is have at least 4 PVs at all times.

I wouldn't do anything to blow myself up. I even bought one of those charging bags, and have a really good charger.
Thanks again!

p.s. Awaiting shipment from RTD already from yesterday.
