18350 in magneto not working

for about a month now I have not been able to get an 18350 battery to work well in my magneto.sometimes it works, and sometimes it won't work at all. However most of the time it's not working at all. I feel like it's not making contact or at least enough contact with the proper contacts in the mod so I'm wondering if there's a way to make it work by attaching a magnet to the battery so it makes contact better. Im using AW buttontop 18350

Either your bottom post (neg) or your top post (pos) should be adjustable. Try that 1st. Magnets can be used but if they dislodge themselves during operation = a dead short and possibly BOOM.

Take apart the mod and switch mechanism clean everything with isopropyl alcohol. Put it all together adjust all the connections for battery rattle and it should be good. As switched said. Try to stay away from magnets if possible
