I just received my Provari Standard with the extension cap cause all I had battery wise were 18650 but I kinda like the size in 18490 mode. I went ahead and ordered me a couple but was just wondering what the difference in battery life between the 2? When Im at home I will prob use in 18650 mode and 18490 when Im out and about. Fits perfect in my case that way and I will only have to take my Provari instead of my usual 2 Vision Spinners,

I find that the mAh ratings of batteries can often give you a ball park figure on battery life. 1 hour = 100mAh. So, the 18490 IMR is 1100mAh and typically give me 11 hours of use. The 18350 is 700mAh and gives me 7 hours. The 18650 IMR is 2000 mAh and typically gives me 20 hours of use. YMMV.

My experience is similar. I was getting about 6 hrs on my evod (650mAh) and I get about 7-8 on my 18350 mind you it's still early days with the provari.
