Hello guys,

Can you guys share some tips and tricks on using 18350 with mech mod?

I have an ELA mech mod, and with 18350 and a Derringer, I love the stealth aspect of the combination. However, I have couple problem

- I am running at .4 ohm, with fresh batteries, it doesn't hit me as a VV running at 30 Watts. Should I lower the resistant?
- I run out of batteries too quickly, do you guys carry around extra batteries? How do you deal with the running out of batteries life with 18350 on mech mod?

Thanks,
Andy

Depending on the type of 18350 battery that you're using, you've already exceeded or are close to exceeding (and leaving no margin or error) the maximum continuous discharge rate with a .4ohm build. I would definitely not lower the resistance of your atomizer (I would suggest increasing the resistance or using a larger capacity battery).

I use 18350 batteries with a mechanical mod pretty exclusively and I go through about three a day. I always have a voltmeter with me, but I can tell when I dip below 3.7v when it's time to throw in a new one.
