The mods are so sweet and look awsome.. the only problem is the mass hysteria on sale day and the disappointment when the one you truly want, The one you truly wish for is unobtainable..and will be gone. Then you feel the lonesome place of settling..

Awwww...there will be 250 of them, and they are all fabulous, so I expect everyone that wants one will get one. How have you been?

Miss you all I'm in batch 8 RSM picking the wood I want for the mod I'm paying good hard earned money for..
I wish Robert would entertain that Idea...I takes longer but if your going to pay $150 to $200 bucks for a mod you should get what you want..Reos are the best bottom feeding mods ever..but I'll go with the wood combo I choose and deal with less inovation as far as bottom feeding..Roberts got that s**t down to a science..his bottom feeding method is above and beyond everyone else..But It's a freakin nightmare trying to get the wood combo you want..
IDK, Matt. He doesn't feel comfortable selling what he doesn't have, and the demand has been so high, it would be a nightmare for him to try to keep up with pre-orders. Even if he did do pre-orders, there would have to be a cut-off, and there would just be a rush of people trying to get on the list. I don't think that there is a perfect solution (except maybe the mythical replicator

I can understand you.
But look what you are doing to your pscho. You move yourself into an all or nothing situation. You want this one and only situation, to be happy. If you don't get this result exactly, if you don't "win", you will be unhappy, unsatisfied, sad. I personally dont like to be sad. I want to be always happy. So, although Rob allowed me because of a special long ago timing situation to choose one out of the 250, I just choose "any color". I will be totally happy like a six year old boy at christmas, THAT I get a handmade Reo from Rob. I don't allow it, that any situation could make me unhappy, that I didn't got that specific modell.
Please understand that english is not my mother language. I hope I could make clear, what I wanted to explain.

I disagree IMO there is not a single mod pictured that I would consider "settling"
They are all freaking beautiful .... Maybe its just me I've never been that picky.
I buy cars in whatever color is on the lot .... a new car is a new car no matter what color.
Same with REOs for me .... a new woodvil is a new woodvil and it will be loved and properly cared for
(I get my dogs as rescues too) .... not one of those gotta get a pure bread from a breeder type.

So, do we have an eta on when these beauties will be up for sale? I didn't use the notify tab thinking it was only for the one in the picture. Am I correct? I have my eye on one of the green ones. The website is still saying about 3 weeks from 10/30. Thanks and I'm waiting with bated breath....

That's the one I've had my eye on since he first posted the rough cuts. Fortunately, I'm not looking for a 18490, was just captivated by the pattern, so you don't have to worry about me horking it from ya!
The more this single picture is shown, the more people recognize this wood.

I will start loading picks the end of next week and keep loading them until there ready.I will give everyone fair warning before sale night . I totally understand people getting upset not being able to get the exact mod they want but most of these mods may have not even come to life If there were pre orders There all random selections . I have way to much on the plate to take pre orders. I love to build wood mods but I have to keep metal mods on the site to. I have tried pre orders people lay lots of pressure on me when they have a pre order. Even if I just made wood mods I don't think I could keep up with the demand wood mods are just to time consuming . I was hoping building large lots of wood mods would help everyone get a mod they were happy with . If you would get me that shiny new replicator for xmas I could make more wood mods

It is totally easy to get this replicator. I know it for sure. I saw it. Homer Simpson was using a mexican hanging mate which produced a big army of donats eating Homer Simpsons.
