18490 progress

I'm about 1 1/2 ml through mine and I am loving it. This is where I would be changing out batts on the Mini, and I still have plenty of power.

That said, I still like the size of the Mini the best, which seems to have been designed for my hand.

Only two REOs have ever left my possession. My original Woodvil was traded to mvgratz for his lacewood Mini Woodvil. My barn buddy, Mini silver/silver, is on loan to a Texas REOnaut who hit some hard times.

Me too. I will always like the size of the Mini the best because it does just fit in my hand so naturally. However, I am a heavy vaper who likes long slow drags, and I go through 14500s really quickly, even when they are new. I figure with the 18490 I will only have to carry one extra battery.

Oh, so you're the one who got that one. It was on my list but gone by the time I got to it. That said, I love the bloodwood with zircote1 door I got totally and would never part with it. However, if you do ever decide to sell, let me know because I would be highly interested in buying it. No problem with having more than one Woodvil of such a handy size battery wise.

I was really hoping to join the crowd but just saw that after leaving Alfred, ME my priority shipment took a right turn at Albuquerque and is now sitting in Montgomery, AL. It hopped right over Indiana and isn't likely due until next week. I had been lulled into believing in Santa as the previous delivery date was Dec 23rd. Oh well not my only lump of coal this week so I guess I was a naughty boy. I bought a Mini off the classifieds that was supposed to be nearly new and included (2) AW IMR 14500s plus all of the bits and pieces(instructions, reducer tube & bottles). The kid bait and switched his offer after accepting payment telling me that the IMRs were bad and offered a brand new set of Trustfires he'd gladly charge before sending. I told him I had no interest in the Crudfires and asked him to just send the Mini since he offered upgraded shipping. This was purchased as a gift for a local police chaplain who commented on my Reo but couldn't afford one. I received the Mini yesterday and it has a collapsed spring that has been restretched (blue), it was covered in eliquid(I hope it is eliquid ) inside a baggie and included only the original (spent) 3ml bottles. I'm going to give the chaplain my Mini that was recently purchased off Robs site and send this #FAIL back to Rob for repair.
I'm hoping when I get that lovely Cocobolo 18490 that my spirits will soar a bit higher.

Mine were supposed to be here yesterday also, but haven't shown up yet. USPS tracking hasn't been updated since they left Maine. Called the PO this morning but it hasn't arrived there yet either. Hope they are found and arrive early next week!

Jez, sorry to hear about the mini. It seems the classys are getting worse all the time. You really need to check the sellers feedback. Be sure to leave neg feedback for that seller so others won't make the same mistake. That was very generous of you to offer yours to your chaplain.
