18500 in an AA battery box ?

Quick question, can a 2 or 3 x AA battery box be modified to hold an 18500 or is the battery just to wide to fit in the box ?

Too wide. A 16xxx can be squeezed in with some modding, but a 9v box will do what you want.

To add to asdaq's reply about the 9v box. grinding a channel for the 18500 in the box and cover will do it. Although a tight fit. See .44++ mod

Awesome work. You wouldn't by chance have experimented with an 18350 and kick in a similar setup would ya? Granted I know that 44 mod being VV doesn't need it that is the ultimate goal that I have in mind for this project. Also any ideas on something just a bit wider ? I've been thinking of having the atomizer connection in the box so I can have a small tank or vision clearo side by side with the battery with only the drip tip sticking out for a stealthy/compact mod.
